Really a good list of upgrades. Too bad those bearings on the drive shaft don’t allow you to use them. Curious to see what Rlaarlo does or says about that. At least the rest of the upgrades seemed worthwhile! Great job Troy!👍🏻😎👊🏼✨
Coming along nicely, seems everything laid out easily enough to get too,too bad about the center shaft, have to admit you got me to get a street car but I couldn't help but go with the buggyra tt o2 kit!!
This car looks ridiculously fun if you have the road to run it. Someone looked at the TT02 platform and was inspired for sure, it will be very interesting to see how this shakes out over time. The platform could become the new speed street platform, maybe get RWD drift conversions etc. :D
Just trying to help nice car notice there's two different size holes on that small piece when you took out that small bearing the shaft still went all the way through so maybe you should get the other side which is the bigger size hole and a bigger bearing Hope that makes sense
how long did yours take to arrive? they sent me rear steering hubs instead of fronts, sent emails and picture and original; order but no response. how long do they normally take to respond
Quite annoying fail with that drive shaft support beating. I’m very curious to know is it just fail from manufacturer or do you need thinner drive shaft.
Hi Troy good day please I need your suggestion I would like to change the original motor of my AK 917 ( 3650/4300Kv ) with a double motor ; between the couple motor model 3660 / 3570Kv and 3670 / 2830Kv whic is the best and more fast solution ? both motors model are on rlaarlo site but if you have others to suggest me please.... send me link thanks for your help
Hello. The higher the KV number - the faster a motor will spin (with the same voltage). However, I believe the 3670 size motor will allow you to run more voltage. More voltage will result in higher speed.
To use the centre support you also need the 2 separate steel centre drive shafts + the cups assembly that fits on the centre support bracket.
Makes sense - thanks for confirming.

Thanks!
Confirmed the bearing support is for a different option driveshaft. Doh!
Nice work Troy. I am sure people will find this VERY helpful. :)
I am a little shocked about those NON-fitting bearings. lol
I have since been told they are to fit a different driveshaft that is offered...

I hope you enjoy it!

Maybe!!! Time will tell.
looks a great upgrade mate
*full view 💯😎Au👍thumbs up*
Thank you 👍
great video Troy it seems like they did no research on the car for the aftermarket parts🤨
Something is unusual with it for sure. Some of the parts are perfect...others are a little odd..
Nice sharing my friend
Thanks!
Have you seen how fast Raz Shiffrin got his to run?
I have not!

I'm sorry Terry, I honestly don't remember. It was a few weeks as the parts came directly from China.

Might only be an upgrade for the steel driveshaft. Steel driveshaft is thin enough for the bearing to slide over.
100% agree there!
Hi Troy
good day

I don't have one right now, will need to get my hands on it.
@@RoadsideRC ok i got it from 3 racing with my D5MR
Link your electric driver please?
They discontinued my exact model, but this one is similar: amzn.to/3NIwvBT
I loathe mine! I ran 1 , 2S pack . Then the next day I ran 1 ,3S pack and half way through running it, the motor locked up. What a joy! 💩👎
Oh no!! Sorry to hear that!
And by the time you get done you could have bought a name brand car where you can actually buy parts.
These upgrades are purely for fun, not necessary at all.
Don't be elitist. You may be surprised by how quality these vehicles are!
