I'm not sure if Craig of the Creek has done this yet, but I would love to see them cover the topic of imaginary friends and how the other kids in the Creek would either accept or reject the idea but in the end they all learn to respect each other and all that
that sounds like an upcoming episodes plot, doesn't it?
@@CartoonUniverse yep!
oh, but it has im pretty sure, that episode where thy traveled to another universe, idk tho im not sure
@@kakao7718 Maybe but they should do an episode where the topic is front and center and not in a broad episode span if that makes sense so then the topic can be commented about
They sometimes sorta blurred the line thus far but didn't actually go for it.
Doorway to Helen comes to mind.
That one Halloween episode featuring a puppet in a tiny doll house too. (Can't recall what the ep was called but I don't think it was Trick or Creek)
And while Jessica's Small Uncle is a proper visible puppet, the conversations she sometimes has with him are somewhat reminiscent of this as well.
Would be interesting if we got SOMETHING that would show Craig and his friends as teens. It would be interesting to see how their childhood Psychologie affected them through adulthood. As you said Sparkle Cadet could become a author that would inspire future generations of kids that’s in her shoes. It would also be funny for them to realize how ridiculous they probably looked when they played the floor is lava and all that.
I think it would also be crazy for then to realize that, damn, they had a whole society structured in the creek. The things they have there are crazy cool, like the creek restaurant, the little snack bar, the kingdom of King Xavier, etc.
I would really love if she moves, and they have the whole episode dealing with her going to move and it turns out her family just moved on the other side of town and she gets to still come back to the creek.
That’s what they did to Bobby.
@@deepcut7788 a little different, with Bobby he knew it was going to be just a few houses down and milked the creek kids for candy. With sparkle I'd like it if she genuinely thought it was going to be a huge move, and if it was on the other side of the creek. Like her parents talked with her about her new school, it's technically a new city, and then it's a real surprise for everyone that she is still close enough to come to the creek.
@@deepcut7788 but he just moved around the corner LOL😂
I know the same feeling as my father was not military but Due to the type of job he was in me and my family constantly were moving around because of this it was incredibly difficult to make friends as having autism I lack certain social skills to make some friends. The only outlet I personally had that made having barely any friends tolerable was the fact that I had a huge imagination which I used to help myself create stories I would daydream a lot imagining what my characters would get into in the stories which I created for them. Thankfully this Way of coping allowed me to become creative when it comes to writing and making comics.
Note: Thanks everybody for liking my comment on this channel. I appreciate it I never thought I would get this many likes on a comment By just talking about my personal history relating to this particular character from Craig of the Creek.
lol it's been two years, but I also relate so hard to this, sometimes I feel like my social abilities are so under developed because of moving around, it's really nice and validating to have a character that I can relate on such a level, especially because when I told people about my feelings of moving around and how that had affected me, I felt like they didn't take me seriously.
My dad was a reservist, we didn’t have to move, but he did have to go away once a month. Sadly I was so used to him being gone due to his other jobs, I rarely noticed his absence.
I feel you. My dad is a business man in an oil company so he travels a lot.
I could see her doing cosplay in her teens. She could even become a professional cosplayer.
Deepcut here. This is my favorite video I have made in a long time, and before I made any Craig of the Creek videos, I experimented first with rough drafts of this video. Sparkle Cadet was basically me as a kid, so I hope you all enjoy this insight into her character and into my own childhood.
I've never moved houses once in my life, but I relate to Sparkle Cadet a lot. As a kid, I bounced between friend groups at school, navigating years spent stuck in the middle of pointless drama, and being ditched in favor of the new kid. The realization that my first-ever friends barely cared about me was a slow but jarring one, and one that still haunts me. I spent middle and part of high school bouncing around different schools, losing and gaining friends as I went. In the midst of all that, I quickly developed an overactive imagination based around whatever fandoms I was in at the time. If ever I was lonely, I could just imagine a place where I belonged. As of right now I've found a school where I can and likely will remain for the rest of my high school years, but I still rely on my imagination to act as something of a consistency in my life, even as I make friends and relearn how to maintain long-term friendships.
When I was a kid we had a long-standing rivalry with the kids at the corner. There were Game of thrones stile betrayals (no one actually died). We would have small-scale skirmishes in just about every yard because we had no concept of property lines.
There were a few large-scale conflicts like The Battle of Thanksgiving which began after a rock that was meant for me hit my youngest cousin. Crag meets Game of Thrones would be the best description. Some of us rode bikes, we used sticks, rocks, and even palm branches because my brother loved the idea of riding a dragon into battle. The moment our two armies clashed my grandmother came out of the house and both sides scattered as we rushed to dispose of the evidence.
Our conflict ended around middle school when one of my cousins got hurt and her mom stormed out and told us all to grow up. We tried playing with them a little after that but ended up deciding on a "you don't mess with me and I won't mess with you" truce.
I rlly like Sparkle Cadets character shes such an inspiring and relatable character to a lot of people
💖 *SPARKLE CADET!* 💖 I love this character! She's one of favorite Creek Kids on the show and she's real cute I'll admit.
Sparkle Cadet is one of my favorite characters too! I love her design, her energy, and her attitude when trying new things. One if my favorite episodes was when she was hanging out with Craig and Cannonball. The way how she kept on trying to ride a bike, I just loved.
Can you do a video on The History, Lore and Psychology of Deltron please?
He's the "robot kid" who claim to be from "the future, the year 3030". He has only appear three times in the show (one of those times was a cameo in the musical episode), but next to Helen I've always found him mysterious since we never/haven't learned much about his background, his homelife. If the Creek is a place where kids can be free to be who they want to be what they can't be at home, what drive a kid to pretend to be a robot from the future?
Of course, I already wrote a draft months ago! Based on your comment you’ll love how I talk about what he’s going through outside of the creek.
some people think that Deltron is an inner city kid! - hence the dystopian "no nature" future he says he's from
Interesting take on the “military kids using imagination”. I only moved once as my dad had a very secure role in the military, but when I moved I was never able to make friends resulting in my friend group being very tight and close. I did find that most of my enjoyment came from gaming and making things which led to my hobbies building cars and motorcycles as an adult and professionally fix restaurant equipment.
Really good video.
I love this character so much
Same
Damn I have to check up with this show again
**Joker Theme starts to play in the background**
I need to watch this show
Same
super worth it. dont let season 1 trick you. it just lays the ground work for the most amazing kids show in years.
Yes yes you do it’s a masterpiece
Easily one of the most underrated cartoons
cause it's also easily the most woke and inclusive cartoon I've ever seen, and that's saying something for a kid targeted cartoon, since many of those cartoons are more inclusive than any other genre of TV media
Awsome video!! I'm also an army brat, and when we were first introduced to her, I automatically connected to her! I moved around so much as a kid, that I never really knew how to socialize outside of a classroom. I think in my brain I knew I would move in a year, so why make strong emotional connections? I've been in almost different schools each grade until my sophomore year of high school, and my sophomore to senior year was the longest we had been in one place. Thankfully, I met some amazing people, but even now, I see people who have been friends since they were children and go and have fun, while me in college is trying to be friends with my roommates (which is kinda working??)
I don't regret being a military kid, I've gotten to experience so many different things, and I'm soooo much closer to my brother then I think i would be if we hadn't, but I've never made those friendships as a kid, and I'm worried for myself as an adult.
I really relate to not knowing how to socialize outside of the classroom. My parents would always move us at the beginning of summer so we could 'make friends' before school starts, but that never went well.
I hope to see a video analysis on Trash King. I know he doesn't come out as much within the show, but given his first introduction/explaining why he doesn't let any of his trash go is cause he left a lot of his stuff behind when him and his mother left their old home (which gives me thoughts that maybe he might've come from a domestic abusive household)
I had a creek near my old home growing up where everyone would roleplay in the tree kingdom as the creek itself had a huge tree hanging over it. When we weren’t climbing trees it was mostly Pokémon cards and Pokémon roleplay, it was really fun….
I visited the creek in 2020 because I found an old ceramic bowl I glued back together from my time at the creek and found our tree had been almost completely devoured by termites, I admit I cried. I still visit every now and again and leave letters at the remaining stump. The last time I played there was 2013 I think… can’t believe I’m 20 this year. I wonder how the others are doing, I don’t remember their names.
I think I might visit once the rains stop and when my tears dry up.
her "transformation" remind me more of precure with the glowy hair and heel click even her over all look is similar
I don’t even watch the show, but I really appreciate the way you analyzed her story. I relate to a lot of things, such as not having any sibling and moving schools often. I frequently relied on my imagination as a means of entertainment. I also created a TON to comics in preschool and kindergarten during recess instead of playing with other kids. I don’t fully relate to her play-style though, since instead of pretending to be a fictional persona, I would use My Little Pony toys and try voice acting them lol. Me and my cousin (who was also an only child) created so many stories with those toys to the point that it was full blown role playing. I struggled when the rest of my friends stopped playing with toys, since that was my only way of maintaining friendships. Eventually I found other ways to make friends, but it took some getting used to
I understand what she went through. I have been through 7 different schools in my life and I haven't even graduated yet. I struggle to make any friends because the enviourments I'm in are completely different. So I got self absorbed into things I like and immediately failed, I was disconnected the whole year in every school and I was always the outcast. I was left out of groups and I never really had direct friends, I just went to whoever wasn't "busy"
Bro, that sounds horrible. How are you coping with that??
@@vienna-mf8xb Hi hello
Went to a new high school and its going great!
I found people who are like me or that I vibe with, I get to actually nerd out and talk about my interests.
I forgot about this comment until you replied, and i got to see how I grew over this past year
Not perfect, but better
@@truepenut8755 that's so cool bro. You deserve it❤️
2:48 bro, why is this so accurate
nice vid and as always alot of reasearch and fun
I know we have jason and sometimes the ex-king xavier in the "bully" role BUT i would love to see an actual episode focused on bullying, maybe a kid who refuses to go back to the creek because of a bully. And not that 1950's bully where someone geta pushed into a locker for wearing glasses im talkin real bullying & outcome.
Poor sparkle cadet :((( she's my fav character in cotc and i feel bad that she was so lonely all the time
This is a great video and sparkle cadet is just amazing and she is like sailor moon! ❤🎀🤩👍💖

I wonder if this season they going to make an episode where Sparkle Cadet will move away again. Only this time it would not be like that Bobby episode...
Thank you for being vulnerable and sharing your experience!
Probably the reason for sparkle cadet changing her hair is because it could be her school hair cut
I really like Sparkle Cadet. She’s similar to me in the way of being a young weeb with an imagination. I didn’t have active military parents but I loved creative writing and drawing comics and playing games. She’s a very interesting character.
favorite character in Craig of the Creek: 'The Secret Kid'
This video broke my heart
Okay but have you heard the tragedy of Darth Plagueis the wise?
I would like a video on the green poncho dude, he is my favorite character, i can't really see all the episodes in order so i don't see im much and i would like to see and understeand more about him😊.... o wait... you already did one...nvm im whatching that
We did a whole video on the green ponchos already pretty recently just check the channel.
@@deepcut7788 yea... i noticed too late, sorry
@@creatore1359 no worries, go enjoy!
Sparkle Cadet certainly shows how some kids use a persona of their own to help cope with the challenges of constantly moving. Sparkle did say how she was never really able to make friends since her family was always moving and can certainly be hard on kids. And while Sparkle’s sailor moon inspired persona might be a bit much at times, she’s found friends who embrace her ascetic and enjoy spending time with her.
Just from hearing the fun tails of the creek. This makes me want to go there.
Yeah same here I have to move a lot too and left my friends behind and I felt really sad
3:46 maybe she'll create high guardian spice! I'm sure people will like that show!
Hey @deepcut I know I’ve been busy but on cartoon character I think you should really do a video on is baby doll from bat man the animated series I think after you watch her self acclaimed episode I think it’s a really cool topic for a video you can do as it brings up the topic of mental and physical disability’s that most people don’t know about.
That sounds interesting, but I think I saw another cartoon tuber cover that just recently:

What happened to the girl from the "alternate universe" that only comes to the creek at night to meet Craig that 1 episode?
she probably died.
@@CartoonUniverse NANI!!!!
What?

I have no friends );
2:50 as a military child I am here to say that this statement doesn't hold up in modern day when easy video game access and enjoyment has kept me entertained for years
yo i just saw the lost kid video, you said that you were going to save sparkle cadet backstory's to another video, dang, guess im just lucky
I thought sparkle cadet was an unpopular character, but after your comment I held a survey and her video was by far the most requested, so I got it done.
@@CartoonUniverse OOOOOHHHH I'm so glad I helped ya!!! This made my day!! Tysm!!!
I ship her with Craig.
I like her with cannonball.
I ship Craig and Vanessa also known as wildernessa
@@CartoonUniverse same
@@chasethemaster3440 There's also Kit and Eileen (The Sewer Queen). Craig pick the of Creek Girls he'd choose to be in a romantic relationship with are limited.
@@deshawnedwards6412 it's Eileen, not ellie
i kind of know the same feeling too because i used my imagination a lot as a kid because that was all i had to keep me entertained i also had to move between schools because of siblings and usually making only making 2-3 friends at that school
Same, but I was labeled a shooting threat in 8th grade. No regrets.
I have the head canon that she has two dads one who is serious and business minded hence why she moves a lot her other dad is a crystal loving hippie type who loved sailor moon and the positive thinking movement
Also sparkle cadet needs either a spinoff series or special
if the show were to end, i would like it to show a slideshow of craig growing up and he still keeps contact with jp and kelsey, who are also all grown up and all three of them are maybe about to go their separate ways, maybe craig decides to go to art school (and possibly works for sparkle cadet on the girl super hero show if they do go that route), jp goes to college to become a archaeologist and kelsey goes off to the military since she's got such a action based personality and enjoys combat and wants to protect her country (she's just always come off as someone who would take pride in protecting her home and the people she loves). perhaps the three are all celebrating their last day in hurkleton mills and they're just reminiscing on their time at the creek and maybe we fast forward a little bit to see that their kids are now in the creek and find their parents old stump. though this is just something i would like to see for the show and to wrap it up in a nice little bow. though the creators can go anywhere with this show and its ending so we'll just have to wait and see
do you plan on doing one about the elders?
Your thumbnail looks like the Megamind meme no Friends
Sparkle Cadet is my favorite character!
Hm, now who will be next? I can’t wait to find out.
This is one of my favorite shows but I never saw Sparkle Cadet. But I'm radically now love her. She looks so cute.
Ok
I'm looking forward to the story ack where some big business type thing plans to destroy the Creek or something sort of land development thing.
Do "why are they so mean to Bobby?" Plz lol
Are they mean to bobby? they seem pretty nice over all.
