More news in Feb and "you'll see what we've been up to in March" feels like that's when we get the actual playtest again but you all let me know what you think, and if you watched the interview how you liked it! Appreciate you all as always.
Yeah, don't think they gave us 2 different months for info drops, looks like we're getting hands on in march. Since league is going into a Noxus theme, I hope 2X lines up with that and we get a Samira reveal. February lines up perfectly.
Yea thats pretty much exactly how I felt. I was genuinely surprised with how much I liked the lobbies and in-game spectate, it's really well implemented and im curious if it will evolve even more by actual launch
If I had 2 Fighting Game Jesuses I would give them complete freedom too. This is the kind of legendary work you can see when you let your studio work with no imposed expectations or limitations.
100 percent! Tom and Tony are kinda the guys for it tbh, we love to see it. IDK if you watched the full interview but Tom said Riot didn't even make them use the LoL IP they could have gone all new characters - which THAT is very surprising to me, and pretty cool Riot was like... yea do whatever you want we trust you. lol
Glad we're at a point where everything is completely new, makes everything so much more hype. That interview was also great, just goes to show that the game is in great hands
Agreed, hyped to see brand new characters revealed again, feels like it's been a while. But truly! I think the Cannons and the actual Dev team might legitimately be the biggest selling point of the game for me. There is a ton of FGC legends in there and it really does seem like they just wanna make a good thing for the community
@@BruiserMinion Yeah same, honestly just constantly impressed with the dev team and how well they implement the feedback we give them as well as showing us their progress at such an early stage of development
@@Aeroezz Especially with it being sold as a live service game I think that open communication and interaction is amazing. Can't wait to see how it all looks on launch, but then also how the Dev team handles feedback for balancing, New champions, and added content down the line.
Big bummer that we're having to wait so long for the next test. Let me back in Riot, please, I really like the video game. Also the interview with the Cannons was excellent, I could listen to Tom & Tony talk about fighting games for hours.
Man I really do be missing the videogame, can't come soon enough. I'm also very curious what is going to happen in terms of the actual launch if test isn't until spring? Could be a Valorant situation where they basically roll it right into launch... or it could be like Q3 or Q4. I don't want to accept that. lol And yea the interview was great! wish it would have been longer even.
Man I know, it's crazy to me we are already at the end of the year but agreed - at least that means Feb is soon. lol By the time Feb does roll around we will finally be around when the game's launch window is too so I think that will be the beginning of the final countdown.... I hope? haha

Brother if we get playable Samira I will be BEYOND hyped, shes easy like top 3 champs I want in the game.
Honestly my biggest surprise from the alpha was the ease of spectating. Biggest I didn’t know I wanted that till i had it moment.

And money to let you cook long enough, let's not forget Riot is behind it
@@tchbast1661 For real. We are at what, 8 years and who knows how much $? I don't know that any other fighting game has EVER had that. lol

TFT's 2025 roadmap teases an "anime style fighting tournament" for set 15 so it might be around that time
Yea I saw that! It's in July a week before EVO too, which adds to the... that has to be intentional, right? haha
Yipee!
