If you pop the phone on the heat mat and let the frame warm up, use the spinning rod and the adhesive comes right off. It's so much easier than scraping with the blade :)

Is a programmer not able to write the old camera serial info to the new camera so that message doesn't come up?
No, you need the programmer and a special Flex cable that is soldered on top of camera, you have to remove the top SHIELD to access the circuit

Yes, no part swaps on the iPhones will prevent it from letting you download and install iOS updates.
