You can buy OEM Husqvarna 572xp's on sale a couple of times a year for the price of that clone 372. The Husky will have a 5 year warranty for the consumer buyer. The clone saw's have no resale value where as the OEM Husky's do IMHO.
There should be no concern about resale value of clones unless you got ripped off imo. I was in a bit of a rush to get one and paid $160 for mine but you can get them for $120-140 shipped. Even if you only get $60 for it you still did alright. These saws can pay for themselves in a day. Just don't expect it to run flawlessly without any work done to it lol. They're perfect hobby saws for someone with a really tight budget that doesn't mind tinkering.
Hsnaqvrna 372 clone saw available now on Ali baba - click blue link in comments … THAT’S a saw to mod with oem parts and resale for a more reasonable price !
What's interesting is this carb is sposed to work great on the std bore version of 70.7 but doesn't on the big bore. Couple years back we built a orig 372 with a factory big bore cylinder, ported it and that sane walbro ran it perfectly. Go figure
@@jamiedalluge9472 It is still using the hilic carburetor here on this test so… the oem genuine hd-12 should arrive by tomorrow and I will retune / retest … The hilic most likely will function ok on the saw as delivered but when called upon to feed a modded/piped saw it fails imho
@@fabzacres-blackcat I have never had a Hilic carb for a 372 work properly on any build, stock or modded! If you want perfection you will need to purchase a Walbro for your 372"s, and that will add $100 dollars to the cost of your clone.
The Hnsavrqua saws have "big dint" carbs. The holzfformas pro saws have carbs that say walbro but they aren't genuine walbros. Farmertec sells those same carbs for $60-70 and supposedly they run better than other aftermarket carbs but if I was spending that much I'd just go ahead and get an OEM carb personally.
@@swsexton1829 The saw on the bench is in this video is a Husqvarna 562xp mark 1 not a 572xp. The 562xp was 20% off retail and came as a powerhead only to my door , for $700 (I bought 2) … Husqvarna runs sales of between 10-20% on their OPE just gotta watch. The newer version 562xp is the mark 2 which is the one currently available
@ no , I said it would equal or exceed a stock 572xp - it’s very easy to tell the saw on the bench is a 562xp simply by looking at the very distinctive clutch cover- the 562xp has been zipped and piped - I have a modded 572xp but there is no way the 372 will take THAT !
@ good for you! The man said on his video that he had a Husqvarna 572xp delivered to his door for $700. I went straight to HL Supply’s website and they are $1179 without tax or shipping.

I'll make my money with Stihl. In my PERSPECTIVE, they are the best saws for ME.
I bought a used ms461 for 450, in fantastic condition. I know I won't be going down the clone route when there's value like that out there

I can say the crank is the same as the hnsavrnqua only saying this cuz it has same identical numbers as that one from the kit show. Yesterday
