counter arcing is done the first 6 to 8 months with a snaffle bit,when a horse is in the bridle it shouldn't be necessary.bumping his mouth is to the horse,agitation.it looks like these people are serving their horses tails,or putting weights on them.also,spurs are not necessary for a good horseman to get the job done.these reining horses these days are strictly mechanical,and don't seem to be mentally developed.and when you see one you've seen them all.horses necks have different angles from horse to horse,so what's with making them all work with their heads on the ground?the western pleasure crowd has contaminated everything.c.f.
