- heyyy! in today's video i show you how i've been selling all my clothes n stuff on vinted to make money! i show you how i list things, write out the descriptions etc, package up items and how i ship them off! i've been using vinted consistently for about 6 weeks and have made over £300!! it's so easy to use and i love it.

I think vinted has taken off its advertised alot which is really good. I hate to see people modeling the items it puts me off buying it x

Poundland do mailer bags 8 for £1 or I wrap in bin liners to stay cheap! I got thank you cards of shein 50 for £1 to add to my orders 😂
Do you have a link for the thank you cards as I would love to purchase them, I think they’re are a great touch to the package also I never know Poundland had that, will definitely be popping into Poundland tmr. Xx
@@yas_688 just type on shein thank you cards and they come up. So many designs to pick from. The mailer bags sell out fast, my local one hasn’t had any for a while xx

Once you have printed out the label do you stick the whole paper to the parcel or just cut around the paper and stick the label sorry idk if that made sense?

You would have to use the option Royal Mail as they print it off for you xx
How do you put the address labels on?
vinted will give you a label to print or scan at wherever the customer chose to post!
do you have to go to a post office and drop the items off there? Is there a option not to/another method?
yeah there’s inpost, hermes and yodel which have lockers that you drop the stuff off to!
Wait if you’re selling something that is getting delivered by Yodel or other delivery companies (not Royal Mail), can you still take the packages to a normal Royal Mail post office? Or is there somewhere else?
yodel and inpost etc are at different locations
So I’ve put some things on vinted, mostly for about £3-5, but I’m worried because usually sending things off for posting costs that much at the post office. Am I actually going to make anything? Does vinted pay for the postage? Bit confused 😂
for evri and inpost and yodel i think the buyer pays and then for royal mail the buyer pays it or sometimes contributes to shipping x

I’ve sold stuff before but never worked I didn’t understand the shipping print offs and ended up sending it independently and never got my money, buttt I’ve re downloaded to sell some stuff and their designer so I don’t want to like get scammed out of 100s of pounds, do you have any tips? 😫 im unsure about the balance and everything
royal mail the selling has the pay the others the buyer does

yeah just edit it and whoever has favourited the item will get a notification

Hii 1 question. Bc I don’t have a printer, if I get someone’s address from an order can’t I just write it out and then stick it on?
No, you need the unique item barcode created after sale, as that will be scanned by couriers.
If you don't have a printer, most, if not all delivery options allow you to print in the store. However, Inpost parcels don't always need a label as you can choose the option for the courier to print the label for you. All you have to do is wrap the parcel and put it into the locker compartment and when they collect the items, they will put a label on for you. It's very convenient
BUT..if the Inpost parcel option they choose is through royal mail, you will need to print it at home. Happens occasionally.
If you are setting up a vinted account, I highly suggest that in the delivery options that you accept you deselect any Royal Mail options to reduce the chance of this but it may occur via Inpost.

Some people online are now suggesting items should be sent in cardboard boxes, rather than poly bags, which you are using. Is that right, do you know?

hi, how did you send the yodel parcel? ive been trying but my drop off point said that i have to print a label myself, however all i got was a barcode.

Great video, what happens if the buyer wants to return it and get a refund? How does that work? 🙂
If the buyer has an issue with the item, as long as they haven't confirmed that they have accepted it is fine and everything is OK, they can click a button in the app and explain the issue. The seller should get this too and usually buyers contact the seller anyway just to let them know.
If they want a refund they can resend the parcel to the seller and they will get their money back.
Sellers have to also check the item returned was in the same condition and if not, can report this to Vinted.
Note: the money the buyer spent on the item would not be showing in the seller's vinted app account UNTIL the buyer has got the item and confirmed everything is fine. It is kept on hold in case there is an issue.
Is it bad to post to many items on vinted? Im currently on 16 items but thinking I might be adding to much?

Has vinted asked anyone else for there Bank account balance and why they asked for this
You need to have a bank account attached so that you can receive the payments from buyers once it goes into your vinted account. Also, it allows them to check that you are a legit seller from the UK

Thank you for this vid really helpful. However, I would definitely recommend brown paper, reused packing supplies or parcel envelopes as these bags are really bad for the environment
absolutely agree! paper packaging would be much better
What happens if the paper bags get wet? These bags are necessary, but they should be disposed of correctly by being recycled
@@elleyam6876 the majority of what we recycle does not actually get recycled and the problem is often with plastics being made in the first place which they will continue to be with supply and demand
@@dirrtydani1 paper bags just do not work though. Its not practical. I tried paper bags for groceries and they fell through and u can only use it once. They also get wet and rip
@@elleyam6876 if you was using bags to send in the post you would only be using it once anyway. These bags are not being reused. Carrying groceries is different to sending parcels.
