Great video! I really love the sound from the train motors. However, I agree with Thomas. VVVF is a kind of drive that changes DC to AC which has variable-voltage and variable-frequency. The output voltage of chopper module is a kind of pulse which has changable width(means changable average voltage) controlled by periodic opening and closing of the switches(such as GTOs) used in the chopper, and after the filter it becomes changable DC voltage. Therefore, we can find that voltage and frequency never change in a chopper module. In a word, I hold the view that chopper is absolutely not a kind of VVVF🤣If there is anything wrong, I would appreciate that someone points it out!!
Please remember: that T-Set C-Set K-Set & S-Set is non AC motor trains, VVVF only use for AC motor trains, including the A/B-Set D-Set M-Set H-Set & Alstom Metropolis.
pin me, i am biggest fan

what is non AC motor and VVVF?
@@OvercookedSteak I guess u might want to ask some engineering student 😂
@@OvercookedSteak VVVF Is Traction motor control
Tangara Setwas using A GTO Thyristor Chopper with DC Motor.
That totally different concept here.
@@chchsjendbd2024 i did.. haha
The Mariyung D Set has basically identical traction motors to the Nippon Sharyo Highliner II BiLevel EMUs
Wow that sounds awesome
I like it so much thanks
so cool
I really like it
I like the h sets sound the best
Nice!

High platform in the stations, as in UK?
Yep
Jeper
M, metro and d set have a simular sound
Not really with D Sets, but M Sets and Metropolis both have Alstom motors!
D sets have Mitsubishi SiC
No one knows if it’s SiC or IGBT yet
@@JenperTV Confirmed SiC
