I've been thinking about majoring in this and I've been looking at the music business program from Columbia college in chicago, I've always loved music, I did a lot of songwriting as a kid as well as singing but I've always been interested in the behind the scenes work cause getting known as an artist Is very hard and I'm not that strong of a performer. So music business seems really cool and interesting.

my cousin is a lawyer and i remember first hearing about her major and how many long hours/days she has and thinking wow i could never have a job with long hours but after learning about the music industry and watching jasmines videos i think i can definitely say i want to work in the industry i feel like i would love it so much
because of you and the little bit you had previously said about your major i am planning on studying it as well, because i had never realized how interested i was in this aspect of the industry. so i did some research and now i’m taking my first college class where i plan out the rest of my education and it’s what i’m going to do. thank you♥️
I spent all of middle and high school not seeing a future for myself in any field, I was good at every subject in school but lacked any kind of passion. oooof i TOTALLY know what you mean about wanting to be "that bitch"! that was me with creative writing a few years ago because i really wanted to do something with books but turns out that teaching is where my real passion lies and i'm a million times happier now :')) this was soooo cool to see, i feel like a lot of fans are getting into music business now and GOOD FOR THEM honestly maybe y'all can make things better!
omgg me too! I wanted to be a hot-shot "that bitch" journalist/creative writing so bad, but it kinda faded away quickly lmaoo!! :(( now I'm building to become an academic college/uni librarian. So while I still work with books and reading, I want to work more behind the scenes helping college/grad students as opposed to being the face of everything.
