Glad to see you back. I always look out for your vlogs. I love your jumpsuit and the way it fits. I had that fabric as a gift box and when I saw the fabric I wasn’t sure because of the black background. However I love the teal. I plan to make loose trousers and some kind of top to match. I’m very tempted to get the’ kewbello’ but I have to grade out at waists and in at hips so it doesn’t always look how I want it too. I always seem to miss your destash fabrics but in a way that is a good thing as I have too many to house properly. I wish I could go back to a time when I bought fabric and made it straight away. As a teenager onwards I would go shopping for the pattern and fabric and had no stash. I do like to have some fabric now for an instantaneous hit but I can’t manage the amount I have. Why do we make our lives so complicated?😆Often I want to sew but can’t face a big project due to low energy levels ,so I have made a little jersey dress for Grace my 2 year old granddaughter. I really recommend the Pansy dress by soi.it goes up to age 6. I’ve been making it with short sleeves recently and it’s very cute. It is quite oversized though and she’s still in 9-12 month bodice and I’ve lengthened the skirt part. 😊
Great makes Rachael. I love the jumpsuit, it looks wonderful on you and the 🌺 dress is also fab. I have to congratulate you on your weight loss following your surgery. I am in the same position having had two surgeries and the weight gain is driving me mad. I’d love to know how you did it besides the running. I have shifted some of it but it’s not easy. Well done you, you look fabulous 💕💕
Good to see you back, family time is important and especially with Layla. Love the jumpsuit, you look fabulous. The dress with the embroidery is nice too, I was thinking maybe a tank dress for under if see through.
I enjoy all of your vlogs, this was another great one! The jumpsuit looks fantastic on you. Yes, work out the kinks and make more! I can see this on you in a vibrant print!
I work with small children as an early childhood educator and I can relate! Children can be so full on but fun at the same time. I keep telling my grown teen/ young adult children that I go to work for respite. I’m glad Layla is now walking some babies walk well past their first birthdays. Love the new jumpsuit.

The jumpsuit looks beautiful on you. You always give the best information about the patterns, makes, and how it could be tweaked. I have been intrigued by the Plum Dress. It looks like it will be comfortable in the heat.
You look really well after your holibob, even if Layla did run you ragged (bless her!). The jumpsuit looks stunning on you, looking forward to your next vlog. 🐾🐾🐾 PS I was in my fifties before I said NO at work for the first time!!!
I think most women over pack for holidays. I always take 14 pairs of knickers for less than a week and the shoes 😂 So hard to say no when you are kindhearted and when you really care. Good for you for cutting back to make time to do what you love 😍
I love your jumpsuit, it really suits you. Can't wait to see your new dress on. It looks very summery. Make the most of your granddaughter, she'll be grown up before you know it. It's nice to see you again.
The elastic for ruching in the sleeve is brilliant. You probably need a bit more fabric added. I found that out by adding ruching to a sleeve. It's amazing how that works! Thanks for sharing! The suit is really cute, and you look great in it!
Rachel, so happy to see you on here again. That jumpsuit s fabulous on you. Grandchildren are the best…..but they can easily tire us out! You deserve a quiet holiday to relax afterwards lol. You are looking so fit lately what’s your secret?! ❤
The Oliso iron is fabulous. Sorry to hear you’ve had dramas with yours. I had trouble remembering not to sit it on its heel at first 🤦♀️ but it’s been a game changer for my wrist fatigue when quilting (which is why I purchased it in the first place) but I love it for all my garment sewing too so it’s a win, win. I actually have 2 of them, my original I dropped off my ironing board and broke the lift mechanism, or so thought, and loving it so much I bought another one immediately. Wellll, my eldest daughter came over and was examining it after I told her what I’d done and she said what’s this for, what’s what for I asked, this thing here mum. She plugged it in to the electricity, moved the ‘thing’ she found and it was automated once more. I couldn’t believe it, there’s a switch so you can use it like a standard iron too if you want to, AND NOT BROKEN at all! 😂
You look and sound well rested. I love the jumpsuit, the tweaks were brilliant. I would like to make one they are so cute but the bathroom access makes me nervous. Sorry about the Oliso issue, I've had mine about 4 years and love it. The legs make me laugh, it's the silliest thing for an iron to come to life! Have a great week.
The jumpsuit looks beautiful! I would love to see your collection of running shorts and leggings! Because of you i finally bought a Greenstyle pattern for shorts and they are chefs kiss! Thank you for the recommendation. 🖤
That silly oliso iron. They were featured in our Costco store about 12 years ago. I bought one, and I just didn't get on with it at all for garment sewing. This popping up and down while pressing sleeve caps, tricky seams etc, I found it to be a hindrance rather than a help. OK if you are quilting or a big pillow case/bedding presser, which I am not. I returned it and bought a high quality cordless steam iron and stand. It is fantastic for my needs. I will be interested to see how you are getting on with it.
I bought an Olisio a few years back. almost exactly the day after the warranty expired so did the iron’s main feature - the legs that lift it off the fabric when you take your hand off of it. I called Olisio and they were completely dismissive. For the price of them I would have expected a bit better service. I look forward to seeing what you think.
So happy you had a great vacation with your family. I have my 4 year old Granddaughter coming to spend a couple of weeks. It will be exhausting, but lots of fun. Nice to see you and you look great. Its summer! You look lovely in your jumpsuit. The points you made about the jump suit would make it a better overall fit. I know exactly what you mean about floppy inner pockets.
Welcome back! The jumpsuit looks great on you and agree about the pockets. Wondering how easy it is to get on and off as there it’s a fau button band? You have done so well with your weight loss journey, can imagine a lot of your clothes are too big now. What a problem to have 😂❤
The jumpsuit looks fabulous Rachel. You almost persuaded me to make one … then I remembered I’m so much shorter than you and it won’t look half as good. Also … bathrooms… 😂
I have had the Oliso (the pink smart iron)for three years, only I paid for mine, lol, and never had a problem with mine. I bought their craft iron as well, and even though it’s a little funky with the steam function, it’s still good quality. I’m thinking you had bad luck with it, hope the new one works out.
Rachel, I have had Oliso irons for many years now. My first was before the automatic legs and I only replaced it because I wanted the new feature. I also have the mini travel size which I love. I bought them directly through Oliso. Their customer service is so good, I actually had someone call me when I had a question. I wouldn't want any other iron now. I hope you get your issues with your dealer sorted out and love yours as much as I love mine. I have to confess that I'm a weirdo who loves to iron.
It's lovely to see you. Glad you've been having such a nice time with family and friends. Good luck with cutting down on work. I am also a natural volunteer and it's so hard not to put my hands up for something interesting and worthwhile. 😊 Love your Kewbello. Will definitely consider that pattern as it looks so wearable. Might leave the pockets off. 😁
Hi Rachel, all those makes are really nice. I am glad you are going to review the Oliso iron as I have reserved the Tula Pink Oliso irons the mini and the standard which are shipping from US in August. I had been looking for a review of those irons by people who I have followed, but couldn’t find one. I hope you do the review soon.
You look amazing and I love your makes. I do not make or wear jumpsuits as I can’t stand having them dangle at my feet while in the bathroom-but looks great on you! Congratulations on your weight loss. You and Judy look fabulous.
I have an Oliso. I’m not so sure about its lifetime. I had to get a replacement after 6 months. They replaced it without a problem but my worry is if the same thing will happen again. It works very well until it doesn’t.
I adore your jumpsuit, but I won't be making one myself, as I'd never be able to get myself in and out of it. My shoulders aren't as flexible as they used to be :-) Your dress is very pretty, too. I love that style of dress, but it doesn't suit me, sadly. I always look pregnant in them and it's not a good look in my 70s. You are right, there is always going to be more fabric. I confess, I have succumbed to fabric, lol.
Sounds like a wonderful holiday, grandchildren bring out the best in us grandparents don’t they. Have you changed your camera Rachel it looks like your talking off side and not straight on, your videos have always been really good. 😊
I miss my sewing machine so much on holiday too, my son got me an embroidery kit for my holiday and it scratched an itch lol Where do you sell your stash??? Kx
If you find it hard to say no,I did, just say," I'm sorry I'd have loved to help but I'm in the same position".I found this so much easier to say and the person asking will understand.
Pleased for you Rachel, as an ex- employer of the NHS, the more you do the more they want from you, you have to look after yourself x
Awww glad you had a lovely lively holiday. You need another one now 😂
Yes, enjoy the sweetness of a grandchild wanting you all the time….they grow up way too fast!!!😊
Those makes are beautiful. I am inspired to make a jumpsuit. Also I love you as a blond the best. You look gorgeous.
Good to see you back. Your jumpsuit is lovely on you and I absolutely love the embroidered voile.

Jumpsuit is fabulous, really suits you and you’re looking gorgeous.😊
I am with you on the big collar thing. I wouldn't make the bakerloo or whatever it is called. Ooo beautiful jumpsuit 😍🤩
I love seeing your beautiful fabric on your destash account. I usually miss out. Good for you being ruthless, it must be quite difficult sometimes xxx
I love your jumpsuit, it really suits you. Can't wait to see your new dress on. It looks very summery. Make the most of your granddaughter, she'll be grown up before you know it. It's nice to see you again.
Great info on the jumpsuit, thank you. It looks fab on you, I’m sorely tempted by the pattern!
Pretty and very very flattering on you
The elastic for ruching in the sleeve is brilliant. You probably need a bit more fabric added.

The suit is really cute, and you look great in it!
Julie is so lovely and Judy is so kindhearted. We have a fantastic sewing family from across the globe 🥰

Awww thanks honey, it’s been hard work but so worth it to finally feel a bit more confident!
You are looking fab Rachel. Love the jump suit.

Lush jumpsuit Rachel ❤
The jumpsuit looks fabulous Rachel. You almost persuaded me to make one … then I remembered I’m so much shorter than you and it won’t look half as good. Also … bathrooms… 😂
Hi Rachel. If your friend ever considers taking orders, I was drooling over your Babylock thread catcher. x
Love the jumpsuit , you look great
Oooh lovely to see your face. Jumpsuit looks amazeballs and that dress is going to be a stunner 😍
I’m just cutting out the plum dress totally copying Ruan’s red double gauze version!! Lovely to see you back xxx
Love the jumpsuit Rachel but how do you get it on and off? No buttonholes???
Invisible back zipper x
So lovely to see you back and looking fabulous ❤ xxx
Thanks for sharing Rachel 💙🧶🌈🍓

Just this morning I was wondering where you were

You’ve got gorgeous destash fabric. I just keep missing out. Not quick enough on the button 😊
Destashing is such a chore! Amazing!!!
Cute, short swingy summer dress. Interesting pattern company.
I have an Oliso. I’m not so sure about its lifetime. I had to get a replacement after 6 months. They replaced it without a problem but my worry is if the same thing will happen again. It works very well until it doesn’t.
