For the mauler team, I actually like Smokey, but, it requires decent early RNG. You want to get him to Legendary in the first 3 or so matches. Around the same time (3-4 rouds) grab the epic equipment that lets him ult as soon as the match starts (the one with 50% less damage dealt for 10 seconds). If you're blessed with this RNG, you place him at the very front of your team with Antandra shielding him. He's incredibly hard to kill at that point. And because he's so far forward, your melee units are typically within range of the actual heals. You won't always get the RNG for it, obviously. But I've used this strategy with multiple artifacts, not just Bone Scroll. If I feel like I'm being pushed to go Mauler, this is always the first thing I look for to see if I can build it. But, if it's not coming together early on, I don't try and force it. Just like drafting in TCGs, you have to make the best out of what you're given and not be afraid to change strategies
Gonna test this out with them I always skip Smokey because the melee units just book it. Def gonna start grabbing him to try this out sounds promising.
I would like to see how you prioritize what to buy, or what to buy in general for honor duels during each stage of the game. Also what to do if you’re ahead or behind.
I was able to beat the mirael 1 shot team with the bone scroll team in the last round and i use oddie and smokey they are good if get them to mythic because you get 7 sec immune to anything and oddie's execute is really good
It is nice to have a mode that allows progression based on RNG and strategy vs how much you spend! The game is doing a good job giving you different things to do!
TBH I haven’t tried it but maybe 1-2 times it actually rarely pops up for me and the times it did pale crown stared me down. 😭😭 That being said I am pretty sure it’s one of my most hated to go against with any comp because it slaps so dang hard.
Hey is it worth it to invest a lot of time into honor duel? I don't understand why we should invest so much time into a mode for a skin and some Tickets. Are there Ranking rewards when the season is done? Appreciate the video!
Yesterday I played a Pale Crown game and the last battle I fought against someone with the item that gives a lot of extra damage but if the carrier dies the battle ends instantly. It took me less than one second to win... It was more of a misplay on his part than a good play of mine but yeah, this item is just too disgusting and disrespectful. Pale Crown is unplayable against Bone Scroll in my opinion though...
It takes time to really learn the flow of honor duel like which rounds to focus heroes which to focus items but once you get the hang of it you will be slapping!
Dude... 3 days of trying your strategies and they all get stomped. How are you running no healer on these mauler builds?? Maybe my luck is just not there.

For me I'd include either the Mirael or Carolina artifact in the top 5.

What do you think about Tranquil Flask? I often get to 9 wins with that artifact.

I think pale crown is disabled now. Havent seen it for like 90 games.

Maybe the items you are getting also you only run no healer if you do all melee.
