      thanks man there should be some more abandoned places in Ukraine coming up! Regarding information, a number of sources. It helps that I've spent a lot of time in Serbia so many things are often random memories I have read or people have told me in the past. I have some English students from Serbia who often send me details, plus my usual starting point is Wikipedia for an overview but I do a more extensive google search for more info. Like in this one I read that the first lightbulb in Serbia was used in Kragujevac lol

      @@davidostrowski679 Old, huge vines in people's yards that were there for generations started to dry up right after the bombing, because of the bombed factories/refineries/chemical plants/depleted uranium and other additives in bombs. All photos and stories about in depth consequences have been taken off line since. For instance, nowhere is it published in English, that the passanger train bombed on the bridge, was actually bombed with phosphorous missiles, were very controllable and witnesses said they'd almost hit the brakes before impacting to select exact point they wanted to burn away. The train itself was stopped on the bridge only after they first took out the powerlines for the electric train at the exact moment for it to be stuck on the bridge. As people were vapourized mostly and the river was below, most people were gone without a trace. The monument there lists 55 murdered on that train then, but actually, as transportation was scarce then, 55 sounds more like how many people was in one train car, not in all of them. It's a monument to the monstrous game they're playing, and their intentions. As for the other side, albanians celebrated the bombings by having their most pretty girls wear necklaces with shards of depleted uranium bullets - no joke. I guess it might have also been the idea of who organized the train thing.

    There was riot police because that day a football match took place, a big one, local club Radnicki played against "Red Star". Should have went to Sumarice, in it is also WW1 soldiers graveyard. Many soldiers were buried there, Poles, Czechoslovakians, Austrians. Sadly good part of it was destroyed by communist scum in 50's and 60's, but the part that remains is strange, and kind of creepy as it sits in the middle of the dense woods.

    To many police because it was a football game that day. Radnicki KG-Red Star Belgrade.
    In 90es Kragujevac called "huger valley" because almost any factory did not work especially Zastava that has about 30 000 workes (in many divisions of Zastava) before 90es as I remeber. Everything just stopped due to war in YU and UN sactions in 1992 against YU (Serbia and Montenegro).
    Beside Kragujevac memorial park Šumarice there is also a memorial park in Kraljevo. Same thing happend in just a week before. German mass execution of people of Kraljevo and Kragujevac in October 1941. Even students/pupils from the local school in Kragujevac, factory workers, civilians, elders...everyone who they could collect.
    That was an act of retribution for an attempt of uprising against German occupation of Serbia and dead German soldiers. Ratio was 100 Serbs for 1 dead German soldier and 50 for 1 wounded.
    In Kraljevo was executed over 2000 people (confirmed by name so far) and around 5000 in Kragujevac.

    • @visi_inspektor_besevic
      @visi_inspektor_besevic 2 роки тому

      Of course that state did support Zastava for the most part of its existance. Even when Zastava exported Yugo in USA. Yugo was cheaper in US than in Yugoslavia that time wich is economicly insane.
      Also in 90es government spent about 1 billion Deutch marks to bail out factory that has no any future in car industry and on the market overall and just paid salaries for the workers who did not work for more then a decade. Some of them didn't even go to work but the government pay them salaries just to keep em quite. That also did not stopped even today. You forgot what kind of contract Serbian government signed with Fiat in 2008. as I remember before the election that year and resign it again few years ago. Salaries are still on goverment, still from the taxpayers money. Fiat does not pay them. We do.
