@@martijnkosters9024 Well... I am just selective, I have a right to not watch what I don't like
@@Calabino i did close the video tbh.
true, i only watch these due to Chris Harris, i didn't even bother going past five seconds with this one
Amazing video. Everyone asking where Chris but no one saying "We appreciate you Jack."
Smh
Keep up the good work tho. You are an amazing presenter!
Love from SA 🇿🇦.
Hey, im from SA as well. I think Jack can also be a great presenter on the show.
Get the golf people, I threw a (literally bolt on) APR turbo and tune kit on it, and it's ridiculously fast (0-60 in about 3.2 seconds on pump gas. And it handles like a DREAM. I live in Alaska where we often get a foot of snow on the roads, and dirt trails in the summer, and long tarmac stretches and I'm SMOKING anything below a Porsche or modified corvette. You don't have to believe me, but 536HP + 3,300lbs on all 4 tires= 10.23 second quarter miles. I beat an Audi R8 V10+ at the strip, fairly certain it was stock, but I'll take it!
I’m so happy that everyone now loves Chris.. CHOC was the best thing on UA-cam til Top Gear poached him 😂
it really was mate
The only hot hatches under $35k we get in the states are the GTI - $30k, and the Veloster N - $34k. The Type R is $40k + over here. I'm so glad I bought my 2019 Fiesta ST for less than $20k when I did.
Toyota is finally rising up from the ashes and giving us this absolute banger of a car! So happy to see the brand go cool-mode again, and not Prius-hybrid-economy-thingy-mode anymore!
That Yaris looks like a good time
Toyota is a fun side-toy for a rich person. It is not a good daily. Especially at that price. Yaris is a track toy, not a hot hatch imo.
I’ll take the Yaris GR, it’s got the looks, power, handling, braking and the all famous Reliability! Chris Harris slept in I guess for this one..
Yaris Out Accelerates McLaren 570s, Audi TTRS, Ferrari PISTA 488 and a Lamborghini to 60km/h.
@@denero4735 Power to weight ratio and AWD contribute to super quick acceleration off the line.
I love GR Yaris
Civic Type R Touring spec. About time, it now means a gent over 40 would consider one.
I have the honda and its bloody brilliant
Why no i30N on the title?
Exactly, I almost skipped the video because of it :D
I'm a big type r fan had all types , but that yaris is amazing.
I'd like to see that Yaris beat the Type-R Limited Edition around a track
ua-cam.com/video/XLcRoIv2YWA/v-deo.html
@@richarddocherty5007 I've seen this video, thus me asking for times around a track instead. Yaris must be a hoot to drive being so light with awd + 257hp, but I dont see it dethroning the Type-R LE just yet
@Jamie Cole thanks bud...seen this one too. I didn't mention it because it wasn't the LE version of the Type-R. So the normal version was quicker on a small greasy/dampish track, so just imagine the LE version on a bigger dry track. Love me some Sutcliffe vids👌
GR Yaris is the king of the 2020 hot hatch
2021
@@SinanRawther hell yeah, so many people that are saying Golf are crazy
GTI - yes. The besr allround car with nice dynamic :)
wv already callin back some vehicule due to the shity break pedal and infotainement bug
You included the A45s over the A35, so why did you use the S3 instead of the RS3????
why amg 45 s but just a S3 and not RS3??
there is no rs3 yet
Why GTI and not golf R?
Because this was a shit vid..lol
@@zachbrooks20 new GOlf R is not available for review yet probably.
A35, Focus ST, and Golf R are more in line with the GR Yaris and Civic type R
There is a reason why Yaris is in the middle👌👌👌
Because it's what you take when you can't afford the A45S
@@DefinitelyNotEmma oof
@@DefinitelyNotEmma Lmao why would i waste more money on an unreliable endless money pit that's going to be ended up in a junkyard 10 years from now when i could buy a FUTURE CLASSIC, Tommi Makkinen approved, limited edition, rally special homologation hot hatch?
@@Random.Contents. the Toyota won't live 10 years either lol. You can take the best and enjoy it as long as you can, maybe strip it down at the end of its life to a track rocket so it has a couple years extra. Ooooor you take something less exciting that will also break sooner or later, but the time you have it, you never had the best option available. When you die anyway, why don't enjoy life to the fullest extent?
@@DefinitelyNotEmma Toyota is going to last waaaaaaay longer and it's a way better car for less money!
The Type R isn't a hatchback anymore; it's a fastback. Its hatch is so sharply angled that it can't hold any more than sedan. Is everyone just not talking about this?
GR yaris Toyota best hatchback
The a45 is 🔥❤️👍
They are also awesome rally cars
I'd go with GR Yaris, best hot hatch of 2020/21 (so far)
Which car is quicker senna, gt2rs mr or gt black series on tracks?
GR Yaris really is a proper rally-inspired hot hatch. It deserves to be on the top. Plus, it's a Toyota,it won't break either. Only if Chris Harris told that, this video would've been twice as good.
Toyotas don't brake because they're made of decade old parts. The GR Yaris will brake just like every other performance car.
@@R4M_Tommy At least guys at Toyota will fix it in time.
Why dont these guys have a BMW?
The 1s is a huge part of this marked

Finally Hatchbacks! The delights that rule the city & offroads both!
Needed a golf r really
Yes, keep believing the Golf R is a better car.
The new one isn’t out yet.
GTI FOR SURE
GR Yaris for me.
The civic and Yaris definately look like something else but the yaris is just so much better with 4x4
The ST Edition has the same brakes as the standard Fiesta ST.
And it isnt triple turboed
@@wpjohn91 But it is a triple, turboed.....
nice mini, cupra and megan rs u've got there

Why complain about GTI's power and not mention the Golf R?
It didn't exist at the time of filming.
But I'd have the Honda out of these for daily driving.
am i the only one who thought that there will be a drag race of these😶
Disappointed. :(

Really pleased the see the i30N but where's the Leon Cupra? It's always the forgotten car.

What about the megane rs trophy, is it too old already?

Ford Focus ST?
