    Where did you buy train tickets to Irkutsk?

    • @robertmaher184
      @robertmaher184  Рік тому

      The ticket was bought from a wholesaler in Melbourne Australia via a travel agent. Here in New Zealand you could only buy tickets for the entire trip and not part of the trip

    Your cabin was second class. First class in Russian railways is a cabin for two. And you misspelt the name of UB, it is Ulan-Bator.

      No disrespect, but I was told that Ulan-Bator is the anglicized version of Ulaanbaatar. And the story behind the second class cabin is that it was booked (via a wholesaler in Melbourne Australia as a first class ticket and it cost a king's ransom in the bargain.

    Nice video of a neat place but you need to edit it down. Just saying…

      I had a conflict of interest in making this video. This journey was a destination of choice, and I didn’t want to edit a single minute, but of course other people don’t necessarily feel the same way. Sometimes when I rewatch a published video after an elapse of time I straight away see what should have been edited. Thanks for the feedback as it is helpful for me to make better videos in the future.
