- TotalBiscuit takes a look at the recently released first/third person shooter from EA/DICE.
Addressing a few inaccuracies in my commentary.
1) When I state that fighters can't slow down to attack ground attacks effectively what I should have said was, can't slow down ENOUGH. You can of course change your speed in a fighter.
2) When I state that the other maps are repurposed versions of the 4 Walker Assault maps, that is misleading. They use the same tileset, assets and some areas are the same. They are not literally carbon copies of each other. Walker Assault however does only have 4 maps and its my genuine belief that this is the only really worthwhile game-mode.
3) When I stated that singleplayer would not help your progression, I should have been clear by saying that it would not give you experience, which is true. You can earn credits in the singleplayer, just as you can in the companion app, but you cannot progress your level, which is what I consider to be "progression".
4) It is worth noting that while I started with the DL-44 which is arguably the best gun in the game, this is a digital deluxe edition bonus and actually requires a fairly high rank to unlock otherwise. It slipped my mind to mention this, as I'd forgotten that I bought the digital deluxe edition in the first place.

Same here... still cannot get over it. I hardly watch any gaming content online and one of its most prominent creator for me passed away. Not PewDiePie, not jacksepticeye, it's TOTALBISCUIT who had to have cancer and die. It's like the fate has given us a middle finger.
Always good to hear his voice.
Imagine what he would have said about Fallout 76. The state of his favourite hobby is pretty sad at the moment.
That game would be so destroyed I think Bethesda would have taken the servers offline.
TotalBiscuit would have probably launched a dozen nukes both crashing and destroying the servers.

i won't lie, the rebooted games do look better than the originals, but i just prefer the feel of the Pandemic ones.

I completely agree with you on the low skill ceiling. I'm not even good at FPS games (I got a 5-35 k/d ratio on my first BF1 conquest match) but within a few months my Battlefront k/d ratio was around 45-5 ish

That's literally just a short barrel Mosin with the stock cut off and a rifle-grenade cup on it. Why would such a gun even need a bolt anyway when it fires Ion/EMP. These are the things adult me cannot get over that kid me couldn't even notice if he tried. XD
I know all the Star Wars weapons are based off WW1/WW2 guns. But really when people say "based off" I think they're being very generous...

I haven't bought an EA game since the ME2, and I don't regret it. Everything they make is absolute trash or a scam.
