I grew up in Compton and was a teenager in high school when Game came out. I definitely saw his impact in the City, especially during the G-Unit- Game beef. I just feel like Game doesn't have the intellectual, lyrical range of Kendrick. And he does gimmicky things (like bring Drake to Compton), and has no real social/ political stance outside of gang politics.

I've said since forever that the Game is a genuinely dope rapper with a hugely underrated discography and a ton of great records and verses. Even his Meek diss is way overlooked along with holding his own and beyond in other beefs and battles. His problem is he's on seemingly 24/7 peak goofy behavior with the chronic bridge burning and loudmouth antics. Most people don't even think of Game as an artist anymore but more of a clown who keeps embarrassing himself with no end in sight. I was surprised but happy when Dre put him on Compton (an amazing record that's also way overlooked) and Game had one of his best verses ever on it. It's true but the game never new Dr I'm a 47 NYC Hip Hop head from the Mecca NYC Jamaica Queens in the house. The Game met Dr in the beginning did a song or two and wrote songs to him earlier on begging Dr to forgive him or start liking him more it was so weird and since day one I always hated his name dropping In every rhyme. He has been scared of Eminem for years anyone under 38 may not know but Game use to say that He was scared of Eminem as an Emcee He says ain't no one want beef with the white boy especially Him. He wasn't in the Superbowl cause He was never a real aftermath artist Eminem and 50 as Well as Snoop of course have done a lot for Aftermath but Em is Drew favorite of all time it's obvious they way they get along they have been working together for years With new material Dr and Snoop haven't done a project until recently they said they had 30 years between projects lol.

I've said since forever that the Game is a genuinely dope rapper with a hugely underrated discography and a ton of great records and verses. Even his Meek diss is way overlooked along with holding his own and beyond in other beefs and battles.
His problem is he's on seemingly 24/7 peak goofy behavior with the chronic bridge burning and loudmouth antics. Most people don't even think of Game as an artist anymore but more of a clown who keeps embarrassing himself with no end in sight.
I was surprised but happy when Dre put him on Compton (an amazing record that's also way overlooked) and Game had one of his best verses ever on it. He absolutely killed that song and that's what triples the frustration with this dude: If he let himself be defined by his records, we'd be having a different conversation about him and rolling our eyes at everything else.

I know Drake and Kendrick are huge in this ERA but their style/flow is kinda Diddy-ish. TUPAC/DMX was hard & not soft as they didn’t care if it catered to the teenyboppers/Tik-Tok Instagram Kids. Kendrick has a few good tunes but the autotune sound rap today is not that great imo but lots of teens/kids would disagree I’m sure. TUPAC and DMX would be shaking their heads, TUPAC would battle Kendrick and DMX would battle DMX and we know who would win (maybe not in popularity today) the rap battle “X-PAC”

I used to be a big fan of game growing up, ever since that old footage of Jim Jones exposing his plans of leaving the unit made me not to listen to him like that anymore.
