Small world, I was the Tyndall approach controller. Those banner tow on the beach always make beach runs a pain because we never get a verified altitude! Nice flight
You Are Right!!!! I am a commercial HVAC and Refrigeration Tech I work on top of roofs all day long where its 95 on the ground and 120 on the roof and the units are more like 140 degrees. So yeah after 30 years of it . Since 1992 Im used to it
Because of the wind that day and a little fear of wind shear, I kept the speed a little high on landing and that means a long float. Better that than getting wind shear and being close to stall sped while at 50 feet. 99% of the time I'm over the fence at 80 MPH and it lands easy.
I was trying to take off with the Yaw trim out of wack. If you set that properly the Comanche comes off clean every time. Unless there is a burst of cross wind.

Very cool. So much to it
Thanks. I will be posting a similar one soon.
Beautiful old Comanche, GA's most under-rated aircraft... These things are amazing.
I love mine. Flies like a dream. 145 Knots true airspeed on 9 gallons an hour.
I live in Defuniak Springs, would love to fly with you!
Nice glass panel. Does it often float in ground effect during landing?
Thanks. It's not too bad if you are over the fence at the right speed. Over the fence at 80 MPH and it lands easy.

Plane a visit to the Naval Aviation museum in PNS it is very nice and Gulf Shores also Blue skys
I have heard great things about that but haven't visited it yet. It's on my short list.
try taking off with 10º of flaps. Should come off the runway much easier

Great music background
What music is this???
Super flight
It's music I got searching for royalty free music on the internet.
Where did the flight originate?
KECP
You are operating in a VFR corridor through the military airspace
I was just using flight following to help navigate the maze of airspace.
music sucks had to quit watching
