Another tip that helped me lock in was dropping your wrists so that your knuckles are pointing upwards. It give you a stronger grip and allows you to steer. Also learning how to isolate parts of your body for balance and other parts loose for counter balance. The push forward has to be enough to get the backend up but has to be done in a subtle motion so it doesn’t interfere with your balance. I’m not trying to take away from the tutorial, I just wanted to add a little more depth to the technique. It took me 8 months to finally get hang five. I was a freestyler prior to learning hang five and I didn’t consider myself as being a flat lander until I got hang five. And just as he said in the tutorial it opens doors to other possibilities. Ten minutes after I got it I was I was able to do it one handed and carve into a tight circle. Now I can do hang five to several different tricks. I posted some videos on my UA-cam channel years ago. My riding became more refined after I moved my riding spot indoors. I think I posted some videos of when I had just put in the wood floor. The rest are on my Facebook page. For those who care to watch start by watching the UA-cam videos first than check out the ones on my Facebook. You’ll see how my riding and style evolved. Good luck you guys! Thank you @Flatland Journey for doing what you do 🙏🏽

hardest way to learn. Every beginner should practice on a Unbike first
Interesting, do you have a video on that? I'm always open to better tips on how to learn tricks.
@@flatlandjourney all you need is front wheel, fork, stem, handlebars, and pegs ! ua-cam.com/video/oIkeRgU4HdE/v-deo.html
