- Thank you for taking the time out of your day to spend here watching my video, this is a bit of a mixed one including my Mammogram results, my lentil bolognese recipe (I've had a number of requests for this!), and rejoining Slimming World.

SOoo happy your scan was negative!! I literally breathed a sigh of relief for you. You're such a kind, strong woman. Wish you haven't had to go through so much, but things sound like they're looking up, minus the falls and car repairs! Remember how many of us care about you and love to hear your good news! Please don't put too much pressure on yourself. Our weight management is a lifelong journey. I hesitate to use the word easier, but something makes it more manageable when you retire. I think stress has a lot to do with what we eat. Anyway, you have a way to go until retirement, but I want to give you something to look forward to. We love you Leanne!

Delighted that your scan was negative! Glad you are back on the plan, you did so well before and were such an inspiration. There is really no change with the books, it's more that some of the emphasis has changed and in ways I think you will appreciate. Processed meats are highlighted as being less good for you, but still free, there is also more of a push for using free foods first and only really turning to syns where there is not a free food alternative, also they suggest that sweetener is a transition food and that as your taste buds change you should consider moving away from it. It seems to me that they have taken some of the more current thinking on food and nutrition and emphasised how the plan supports that. I think it's a really positive shift in message while actually having no change on the plan at all.

Hello lovely 🥰. It’s so lovely to see you again. We were away before Christmas and Christmas etc - it was great. Aww, children are the best. I only have one 9 year old girl but she’s great. ❤
I remember hun when you told us. I wish I could give you a big hug. One of my best friends got breast cancer in her 50s. I didn’t ask what stage, but she had to have a mastectomy. She has to keep going back for checks etc. I’m so so glad you’re loads better lovely ❤❤❤❤❤❤I rejoined slimming world on Wednesday. I’m looking forward to it.

I cooked the butternut squash curry tonight not what I was hoping for but will adjust the recipe and try again. So glad you are back and are going to do you vlogs. Take care.

Hi Leanne,
I live in South Africa. The sun is always shining here and there is always the risk of developing skin cancer if you have a light skin. I developed a growth on the lower eye lid of my right eye. I do not know if it is cancer or just a benign growth but I went on a high nutrition diet for about two months and the growth have shrunk noticeably.
I would like to share the diet with you.
The soup
Ingredients: - two handfuls of Chopped broccoli, one chopped onion (purple), two bags of green tea, two pinches of mixed herbs, two sticks of cut celery, Two handfuls of frozen and crushed spinach or kale, half a table spoon of crushed garlic, Three shakes of black pepper, seven shakes of turmeric, two tablespoons full of apple cider vinegar (with the mother), one bag of white onion powder soup for flavour, a hand full of cooked red speckled beans and a handful of cooked mince meat.
Just add all the ingredients in a pot, add boiling water and switch the stove on high till the water boils. Then lower the heat until the water simmer, Let the soup simmer for an hour. The soup is now ready.
I would only drink water in the morning. At 12h00 I would start eating the soup. There will be about two helpings that you can eat in the 12h00 to 18h00 time frame. I also ate a fruit salad every day in the 12h00 to 18h00 time frame.
(Note: Apparently turmeric reduces the effect of some chemotherapy drugs and thus should not be taken during chemotherapy.)
During the rest of the week I would also eat food that contains vitamin D like avocado’s, mushrooms, liver and eggs in the 12h00 to 18h00 time frame.
It seems to be working for me, maybe it will also work for you.
I pray to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ that the cancer will not return. Amen.
