E stato emozionante veramente. Quanto mi manca la mia Milano, le strade affollate, l’odore caratteristico di Milano ( no non dello smog non c’è solo quello), la vita, la voglia di vivere, gli eventi e le giornate con un sole che spacca le pietre sia di inverno che d’estate è primavera e autunno.

tutti, e continua a farlo ancora adesso. Una città generosissima e, purtroppo proprio per questo, a volte solo usata e ben poco condivisa. Nessun altra città è valevole in questo quanto lo è Milano !!

European cities sre arguably the best of both worlds, -you get the historic buildings juxtaposed with the new tall and glass types. My town Manchester is a good example of this. As is Milan. Here also Moscow to name but a few.

Speriamo che le nuove costruzioni siano il primo passo per un rifacimento totale, perché effettivamente nel panorama italiano, Milano è proprio brutta. Nonostante ami questa città alla follia, purtroppo i miei occhi ci vedono ancora bene:)

Daniele Barni Architettonicamente scialba la città che ha più edilizia civile di pregio in Italia e in Europa ? Qui ci sono palazzi che vanno dal 1200 ad oggi , alcuni con resti romani all'interno , giardini pensili... Architettonicamente scialba non è esattamente corretto .... Le zone residenziali a Milano sono tantissime e attraversi più di 2000 anni di storia da quartiere a quartiere : come casa Fontana Silvestri, le cui fondamenta sono di una Domus romana del primo secolo avanti Cristo, e la forma attuale è rinascimentale ... O il palazzo Gotico di piazza Borromeo... O la zona Magenta /arco della pace con i suoi palazzi ottocenteschi e le sue ville ...e ce ne sono a decine di zone così ..

I got to visit a dozen Italian cities and Milan was by far the most disappointing. Crowded, dirty, unfriendly, littered with illegal street vendors and panhandlers, it was a dumpster fire. Not to mention it's ground zero for the impending Italian financial meltdown...

Are you sure you've visited Rome? Because as far as I know, you could find it anywhere in Rome, so *Milan* is NOT the dirtiest. It doesn't have the capital image it should to have. Milan, however, is the Italian Capital of finance. It is the richest non-capital city in Europe. The City of Milan is richer than the U.S. State of Massachusetts and its Lombardy region is richer than the 19th biggest economy, Switzerland.
