Very helpful and insightful, especially the proper method of determining resolution !! Currently learning on an S1 and struggling with surface finish issues. Considering resin as my next investment. A video suggestion would be addressing surface finish issues. Ironically cura's suggested super fine settings are giving me the worst results with snagging and dragging marks. Quite a mess. Tweaks to my fusion 360 designs also make a difference with a bias towards a shallow angled surface rather than a flat plane. That's not ok for many functioning parts. I can provide a wealth of part photo's, defects encountered and associated settings i used if you'd like me to forward. That might be a great video topic ? Thanks, Phil. 🇬🇧
@@Yarkspiri just to add Yasmeen, I do photography and can provide you high quality macro close ups and happy for you to use if you wish. I've trawled you tube but no one really address's the issues I've had, offering more generic best practice etc ...
If you could send me pictures and a list of the issues you've had, I could look into it further. You can send me the photo's via the Facebook group page. facebook.com/groups/1031348987198170
Yes, there's a bunch of work for the post-processing portion, and that'll be dependent on the materials being used. None of the cleaning materials should be put down the drain. Instead, they should be allowed to evaporate/cured. Any thicker materials should be fully UV cured before disposal. I'm working on the resin printing guide and after one more revision it should be uploaded tonight. I generally update the PDF's as I get new information and include these as free updates to those who bought it at the lower price.
UA-cam has a slow playback feature (the gear icon on the bottom right-hand side of the video). I also have the transcript and captions on my website for each video to make things more accessible. I watch all my videos at 2x the normal speed, which is why I made an effort to include alternatives for different demographics.

Thank you. One day the work might pay off.
Great ! A question re resin printers. Is there a requirement to post treat the prints, cure etc ? apart from a good water wash ? ...
