UPDATE!: I forgot the new movie versions for Indonesian and Malay in this video, so I included their parts in a separate video. Here's the link ua-cam.com/video/VqJ0S7E2BLE/v-deo.html
@Dont even bother looking at my username 2008 No problem haha :) Glad you enjoyed. TV elements that I promised last week almost done to be published on my alt account.
There’s a separate English dub for the Philippines? I know I shouldn’t be surprised, after all I’ve seen weirder dubs of Disney movies, but it still kind of surprises me. I wonder if anything changed aside from the voices. Also, why do languages repeat? Maybe I’m dumb or something, but were you just trying to get through the whole song?
@CAMEΩ Haha no, it's only a promotional version. I'd be really surprised to see that - even for Moana. Also yeah, I wanted to edit it as if the parts of the song would correspond/interact with each other - not in a one-lined fashion.
@Ultimate Video Master Exactly. I find it strange and ironic that the Hawaiian dub came last out of all of the Polynesian versions since I think that's where the movie was set. First came Tahitian in early 2017? I think, then Maori in late 2017, then Hawaiian in June of 2018.
@@whatshouldidowithmychannel I think it takes place in a mix of all Polynesian islands. Likely Samoa given how Moana dresses in the movie (and in the Where You Are song.)
I don't think you're crazy at all and I agree honestly, these versions were really good in my opinion haha. No problem at all and I'm happy I was able to include them here
@@maricelbriones8896 The official Armenian version isn't. Honestly I'm not even sure if there will be an official Armenian dub (I've to check back on this) but the one I used in the video was a fandub (clearly.)
@@vladimirvladimir199 True, although I guess I was using "Asian languages" as an umbrella term for languages spoken in countries that are considered to be part of the continent of Asia (which Armenia's one of them from what I understand.)

The Malagasy is so weird and enjoyable.
@LeoDaLemon Agreed. The melodic/lyrical structure is oddly different, it sounds so...magical in a way. It's beautiful.
Where Indonesian & Malay official? You only add the promo version
@Everywhere I didn't know there were Indonesian/Malay official versions. I probably should've searched for them before making this video :/

It definitely does, I may just update this video overall with each dub that's available and not just Asian-Pacific ones, possibly in the next year.
