Around 2:46 what does he mean he has to lose the joust to have lethal? Sorry I am a fairly recent new player(last year) but I do know joust just means reveal a card in each deck, if yours cost more draw it or something. Thanks for any explanation.
He has to lose it so he would not get a card so the inspire card would go off and deal 2 additional damage to the enemy face.

Kinda late to answer this but the feature to be able to record clips in twitch was added much later on so it's reasonable that there is no naxxramas/goblin and gnomes/tournament clips

I was searching for this comment, and I finally succeeded!
I just realized at 12:25 Kripp didn't have to do the Shieldbearer shananigans for lethal. He could have simply Meteor'ed his right two minions after attacking with them + hero power for lethal. Kind of undermines the 200 IQ play.

I'm new to hearthstone and at 2:14 why'd he have to lose the joust to have lethal
Bobby Smith Smith Bobby One of the cards in his hand, the Archer, deals 2 damage to the opponent's face when your hero power is used but only on the condition when your hand is empty. If Kripp won the joust then he would have drawn a card and as a result, would have been 2 damage short of lethal.

@@itssynergy7195 probably a bit late lmao but the 2-1 does 2 damage to the enemy hero if you use hero power and have no cards on your hand, if he won the joust he wouldve drawn 1 card so he wouldve lossed 2 damage

What happened was that his opponent messed up his order and got his taunt caught in his own whirlwind by playing the taunt first. The reason Kripp facepalms is that when shadow strike shows up it can't target damaged minions so his misplay ended up benefitting him and he got rewarded for playing badly.
it could be actually a smart play by him, but i doubt it :)

Minodrey one lf the minions on board deals two damge to the enemy hero when you hero power with an empty hand, kings eleck draws a card if it wins the joust and without any mana to play anything: drawing a card would have meant that he did not get the extra 2 damage for lethal
