A: Our fire house is located in the town of Willow Street, just south of Lancaster City, Lancaster County Pennsylvania.
Q: "What is the spinning thing?"
A: That is called the "Roto-Ray," it is a spinning light designed to catch drivers attention.
Q: "Why is the call so far away?" or "Why does it take so long to get there?"
A: Many of our responses, or at least many of the ones that are uploaded are responding to assist other departments. Usually another firehouse can be seen or is passed by who is already on the call. We can reach the far end of our first due in West Lampeter Twp within 5 minutes, and in Providence Twp about 7.

A: For dash cams I use a GoPro Hero 7, helmet cam videos I use a FireCam 1080

I find it amazing that they would dispatch Willow St. FC to this accident when Lafayette FC is less than a mile from this accident. I would think that Lafayette would have been the primary with Lampeter as the backup.

@@jakobmadsen31 Lafayette responds to all those major accidents on Lincoln Highway and Route 30. They are one of the most well-equipped fire companies in the county.

@jackcoberly2705 This call is in West Lampeter Township, so it is handled by 54 as the primary company and 50 for the Rescue. 63 does not have a rescue company. On a house fire, 63 is due because they are close, but for all other calls, West Lampeter companies handle West Lampeter calls.

4 months late but it's called a Rotoray. Basically it's just 3 lights spinning on a small electric motor. Does the same thing that the flashing lights do.
