That was great to see. I'm glad not only was a basement dug out, but a ground floor level was also added. It seems to give the homeowner twice the sq ft in the same area, which is really efficient. I'd love to add a basement to my home, but it's way out of reach, financially, at this time. I'd rather have the house lifted, and the basement dug under the house. It's less than 1000 sq ft, and I believe I've seen rough estimates online that it'd cost about $100k, and that it's cheaper than building up or out. Who knows? Maybe one day I'll have the opportunity to find out.
why in the world did they do all of that and not make this a walk out basement? seems the extra cost would have been small compared to the increase in resale value.
Well that escalated way past whst i was expecting 😮
🔥🔥🔥

Doesn't look like the grade is even close to workable for a walk out.
@@bryantolson8430for the right price that can be switched too
How does one go about finding a company that does this kind of work for a reasonable price in their area?
this almost exactly what I need to do to my house. Are you interested in consulting? I am looking for a General that would be willing to guide me.
What would be the cost for this?
Problem like 562 dollars
How much does this cost?
What was the price for this build?
how much would this all cost?
how much did thar cost?
How to minimize the settling differential risk of the new addition basement foundation?
Can this be done on a really big, presumably heavy house?
