Haedong Yonggungsa is a good temple on a coastal area in Busan where I grew up. But this temple looks like a Chinese temple, not Korean. In this temple, most of the letters and pillars were painted red, which Chinese people like, and the stone statues were placed in the shape of the statues in typical Chinese temples. We'd better replace them with Korean colors and Korean sculptures as soon as possible and show the world the eternal beauty of the unique Korean Buddhist art culture. In short, Haedong Yonggungsa, now looking like a Chinese temple, seriously damages the scenery of the world-class beauty port of Busan. We may refer to Naksansa, a small temple in Yangyang--one of the Eight Most Beautiul Sights of the Gwandong Region along the same East Coast. Isn't this the time when typical Korean things become typically global? Let's go there again.”
I've been here and although quite scenic, I thought it was also kind of a tourist trap, unfortunately. The shacks/shops selling souvenirs, snacks, and coffee as well as all the signs for tourists scattered about are a stark contrast to what one would expect of a temple with beautiful views along the coast. It was less of a spiritual experience and more of a selfie/selca spot.
Right. I agree with you. It is true that it is a beautiful temple, but I think it plays a bigger role as a tourist landmark to thoroughly attract a large number of people.

Obrigado meu amigo. Hoje é dia de muito sol, então parece ser um dia feliz. Desejo seu dia maravilhoso também.
Do they allow tripods or selfie sticks in here?
Yes, both selfie sticks and tripods are available.
