John Lloyd Young is the real deal! I've seen his cabaret show several times and he sounds and looks even better in person. He's such a sweet, down-to-earth guy and so kind to his fans, not to mention giving of his time to several worthy causes.
I saw the original cast a month after it opened and I have seen two touring casts but no one can come close to JLY! He is sooo great! Wonderful memories.
What an absolute blessing Johnny is!!! Please keep singing, acting and dancing!!! I think I'm watching the movie "Jersey Boys" at least once a day now. His voice, the looks on his face, his movements - he is the whole package!
Every song that John sings is done to perfection, he is wonderful and I can't wait to see him perform in person, I hope 2023 is that year! I'll travel from Australia to the US just to see him and that will be my dream coming true!

This video is my absolute favorite!! John looks damn good for his age and is very talented as well as smart, sexy and has a soft spot in his heart for the kids he gives encouragement to in different schools. Would love to see him in person at one of his shows, even if I have to travel to get there!
I was blessed to see JOHN LLOYD YOUNG in the Broadway Touring Company as FRANKIE VALLI in JERSEY BOYS here in Indianapolis, Indiana, at least 7 to 8 years ago! ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! STANDING OVATION FOR THE ENTIRE CAST! CLOSE YOUR EYES AND YOU WERE LISTENING TO FRANKIE!!!!!!

greg atherton - I hate to be the one to tell you that Frankie himself listened to various cuts of the songs and he wasn't able to pick out only his own recording of some of the songs. He even said that John does a better Frankie than himself and he loves how John portrayed him.
Greg atherton, I'm sorry, friend, but John Lloyd Young is and will forever be the best Frankie Valli in history, he was the protagonist in the original cast, Tony won the best actor in play along with best musical, Starring in the movie Jersey Boys, if there are perhaps some better actors like Jarrod Sprector for me Jarrod acts a little better than John or is also Michael Longoria or Ryan Molloy himself but John is simply the current Frankie Valli
Frankie may have preferred Ryan's performance in regards to the non-American portrayals. It's not the first time I've seen someone comment that he liked Ryan "better". Perhaps, he was referring to the UK Frankie's only (personally, in that regard, I prefer Michael Watson 😍). That said, John will forever be and is the only Tony award-winning original who would go on to do the movie. I think that says a lot.
