Sahir Saab's nazm depicts the lifelong Zindagi-e-Kashmakash. Well-made script full of life's truth and pathos. As usual, Jayantika Sengupta as Rani is at her best. In fact, no woman is a prostitute by birth or becomes one but this cruel society [here Rani's husband] compels her to be one. No other writer than Manto Saab and Sahir Saab have depicted the poignancy of this.
