Imo, there is no siege player more deserving of a win than Paluh. He's consistently been one of, if not the, highest rated players in his region and the world, and he's been grinding with Liquid for so long, with so little to show for it in terms of titles. And watching him battle through personal tragedy at SI21 and just keep going is one of the most inspiring things I've ever seen, period. My respect and admiration for the guy grows every time I think about it. I've never been a Liquid fan, but I hope they win something soon. For Paluh.
What's insane is Ive been making this exact same point for Nesk for soo long. Both easily top 5 players to have ever touched this game, and theyre on the same roster, yet theres no major title to show for it. You can definitely feel for the guys and the day they pick up that trophy will be surreal.
I will tell you as someone who's been a die hard liquid fan since zig was on the team. SI21 was heartbreaking, but I've never been more proud of Nesk, Paluh and everyone else on the roster. I still have faith though, one day they'll get it.
I loved it too but now it is just boring. Awful map changes and new maps. Season pass was a bad idea and with gamepass any stupid player can get into a match. There should be an option to choose if u will play seriously or not because in my teams there is always super noobs that make me angry
@@panditas7679 hang on, so you want the game to get popular but hate noobs? That type of mentality is what has this game dying in the first place. That’s what he meant to me and to everyone in Siege, because in life he didn’t care who you were or what your status was; he’d never talk down to you. I met one of my groomsman at my wedding playing siege and I had 8 others come out for my wedding as well, all of us met playing this amazing, frustrating, intolerable at times but memorable and fantastic game that I will always love
I never thought I needed this.. beautiful memories and moments in siege. Even tho I don’t play it that often I still come back sometimes to just feel and remember the good old days. Siege gave me a lot of things and I will love it forever and it has a special place in my heart as a game and even more than a game. ❤
Even though I hit diamond 1 which is highest record I've ever had but I miss 2018 and 2019 so much when I truly 'enjoyed' this game...Its so sad because I can feel the siege is dying...siege was more than just a game to me back then
Honestly Grant, I have no words right now other than thank you for giving me this moment to shed a few more tears for this amazing game. As much as it pains me that I want to invest as much time as possible, the decline in interest and the overall player base is really sad to see, unless there's another Siege revolution or a Siege 2 that can be the "Classic" that we knew and loved I don't see this game going much further after Year 9 at most with what we have right now. But to see these moments, SI 2018, Kix, Paluhh playing not only to make his dad proud when he wasn't able to be with him, but pushing through those emotions and almost clinching his first SI, Supr retiring, Pengu retiring, Canadian "retiring" and so much more just reminds me that the hours poured into this game was always worth it. You got to see moments like this. Once again, thank you Grant.
I'm legitimately in tears. Seeing pro league for the first time instantly lit a fire under me to start competing in siege, coming from someone who prior to this thought that esports was boring.
