I think it has been proven, just people still refuse to believe. You cant make someone believe the sky is blue. And their are color blind people who have to take everyone else's word what color is what.

To me this is the most compelling evidence yet. When asked if Anthony was buried there the spirit box says ‘obviously’. Then it says several times ‘help me’ and ‘please help me’. Then when Ryan asks if anyone is buried there the spirit box replied with ‘Anthony’. And then when Ryan is talking about River being one of his favourite actors the spirit box says ‘thank you’. This all seems a little too conversational to be just random words with no meaning
it's in the same voice too!! and normally I hate the spirit box cause it feels pointless but that actually weirded me out that it said it over and over!
For the post mortem: If someone confirmed that there was a body back there in that room, why was the room never searched? That just seems kind of sketchy to me.
No one "confirmed" anything. Someone said there was a body buried somewhere, no telling who or how credible they are. Unless the owners want to shut down the bar to hire a bunch of construction workers to tear apart the downstairs of the bar digging out all the floors looking for some random body that may or may not be there, it will never be found. It would make really 0 sense to not only spend the INSANE amount of money that would take, but also all the money lost from having to close down. That would just be pure stupidity. Unless someone testified in court and gave details about a body no one is ever going to go tearing about the bar digging up the ground.

You don't go tearing down concrete and walls without evidence, after that the police need to apply for a warrant based on evidence, after that they'll bring in cadaver dogs to sniff out decomposition, after that they'll apply to dig up the area. There's a large number of hoops to jump through and basically not enough evidence was there to warrant investigation.

Honestly I think that this place is haunted and the reason the ghosts were so active with the spirit box on camera is because they were celebrities who were used to being on camera and in the spotlight
Sometimes I’m skeptical about the spirit boxes, but I truly believe the “thank you” was River. So many of these were so clear you cannot deny their authenticity. I’ve never cried at an Unsolved video but Rivers response made me shed a tear

I think I more or less on the fence on ghost. Like they could be real, they might not but whenever I hear words from the spirit box, it legitimately creeps me out a bit to think that someone who has left this word is actually communicating with that device. It's the closest thing to an iPhone a ghost will ever have.
i never knew anything about the Viper Room, but once they mentioned the “one young celebrity that’s made the Viper Room infamous,” i somehow had a gut feeling it would be about river phoenix.
River’s death was actually so sad. From many accounts, he was not a regular drug user. He’d just gotten back from quiet Utah (filming dark blood) and he kinda got swept up into the excitement. He told a couple of his friends he wasn’t feeling very good and thought he was overdosing, to which they replied that he wasn’t because he was standing and talking. Obviously he made his own decisions and no one else should be held totally responsible but I truly think he was a lovely, socially conscious human who just made a mistake that cost him his life, poor Joaquin was maybe 19? And had to call 911 for his dying brother. Just so sad all around.

To me this is the most compelling evidence yet. When asked if Anthony was buried there the spirit box says ‘obviously’. Then it says several times ‘help me’ and ‘please help me’. Then when Ryan asks if anyone is buried there the spirit box replied with ‘Anthony’. And then when Ryan is talking about River being one of his favourite actors the spirit box says ‘thank you’. This all seems a little too conversational to be just random words with no meaning

For the post mortem: If someone confirmed that there was a body back there in that room, why was the room never searched? That just seems kind of sketchy to me.
No one "confirmed" anything. Someone said there was a body buried somewhere, no telling who or how credible they are. Unless the owners want to shut down the bar to hire a bunch of construction workers to tear apart the downstairs of the bar digging out all the floors looking for some random body that may or may not be there, it will never be found. It would make really 0 sense to not only spend the INSANE amount of money that would take, but also all the money lost from having to close down. That would just be pure stupidity. Unless someone testified in court and gave details about a body no one is ever going to go tearing about the bar digging up the ground.

You don't go tearing down concrete and walls without evidence, after that the police need to apply for a warrant based on evidence, after that they'll bring in cadaver dogs to sniff out decomposition, after that they'll apply to dig up the area. There's a large number of hoops to jump through and basically not enough evidence was there to warrant investigation.

I think I more or less on the fence on ghost. Like they could be real, they might not but whenever I hear words from the spirit box, it legitimately creeps me out a bit to think that someone who has left this word is actually communicating with that device. It's the closest thing to an iPhone a ghost will ever have.

i never knew anything about the Viper Room, but once they mentioned the “one young celebrity that’s made the Viper Room infamous,” i somehow had a gut feeling it would be about river phoenix.
River’s death was actually so sad. From many accounts, he was not a regular drug user. He’d just gotten back from quiet Utah (filming dark blood) and he kinda got swept up into the excitement. He told a couple of his friends he wasn’t feeling very good and thought he was overdosing, to which they replied that he wasn’t because he was standing and talking. Obviously he made his own decisions and no one else should be held totally responsible but I truly think he was a lovely, socially conscious human who just made a mistake that cost him his life, poor Joaquin was maybe 19? And had to call 911 for his dying brother. Just so sad all around.
