I've wanted to go to a Thunder Ranch course since I first heard about it from a Blackwater contractor while in Fallujah in 2004. I still have my notebook where I wrote it down as a goal towards joining the FBI. Dodged a bullet there lol
I recommend getting neoprene elbow sleeve for prone position. I have been using it for competitions around the world. easy to carry and slip it on when needed
I know you run a Criterion in that little 11.5 upper there and I just wanna say--I bought my own Criterion CORE 16" midlength from Rooftop Defense and I have to say--I'm extremely pleased that Criterion barrels work as advertised. I've never owned a more accurate barrel than this one. It easily shoots sub moa groups. I used mine for an SPR-ish build and I think i'm gonna be on the lookout for an 11.5 or 12.5" and build an SBR. i've never done a form 1 before so if I do it I'm gonna do it right and make a high quality custom upper and also try to find a nicer lower hopefully with a cool roll mark for it lol.
15 years ago I was that guy that posted what my grandpa told me shoot chest once, if no work, dump on upper legs, pelvis. The goal is not kill, it's stop, even in war, even from far away. They had armor in his day in WWII. It was a thing even then.
As a paramedic it just makes too much sense. Large easy mostly unprotected and all kinds of ways to inflict pelvic trauma which is all deadly, little to no way to control the bleeding, not to mention it stops them from using their legs to move🤘🏻
@@assclapper2231 His point was to win the fight, and an upper leg/pelvis hit is usually fatal within a minute with a rifle anyway. The chances of return fire after a hit like that are also low given the huge gushing hole that now needs to be addressed immediately. Also, the pelvis moves in a predictable way,if at all, not like the head.

All shooting is precision. Some shooting is surgical' A brilliant, wise quote. Should be a meme for easy transfer of priceless wisdom.
Went out to Thunder Ranch for their revolver class. Was an amazing experience. Looks like this class was the same!
Looks like a great experience!

You should definitely take a course there, I've taken five classes and will take more. You will go home feeling 100% confident in your abilities.

You’re awesome…like a tactical accountant.
Is it still owned by Clint? I could have sworn he was selling the ranch off, but am glad to know it still exists!
Would love to be able to do some TR.
Good content
I would love to take a class out there. I bet it’s a fortune
1280
65,000 rupees
Lotta shekels
@@tacamo21that's a lot for a class but it could be worth it if there's a lot of knowledge you can train on afterwards.
@@tacamo21$1280? Holy bajeezus.
Why did they relocate to Oregon? Might as well be in Kalifornia. Now we have to be careful not to cross enemy lines with high-capacity magazines.
Thunder Ranch is not a firearms class, its a fighting attitude school that shows how different platforms can bring the fight to "the problem".
It would be a dream to go there at least once

Now if I could only find that Sierra in stock.
Which ZERO did you use and what was your barrel length? Great vid!
Looks like he was using 11.5
man i really need to find the funds to get to thunder ranch. thanks for sharing as always.
Limitations of the ammo? But what about the barrel length, that makes a huge difference too
I would love to attend a course but flying across the country with my guns seems increasingly sketchy in this day and age.
ATF’s worst nightmare…
I wish this was one of the classes that was allowed to use non frangible ammo
At 5:11 what pants are you wearing brother ?
do you have to use frangible?
What rifle/suppressor setup did you use?
Beep boop bloop
Hey
ok
Slow is fast!
