Smaller pictures would be harder to see. I like the bigger format for this book because I feel it shows more detail.

Dave is pretty good at explaining things and I watch his vids when he puts one out he is a serious bushcraft dude maybe I should get one as well

He is a serious bushcraft dude. He has a lot of first hand experience not only from himself but also from all of his students at the Pathfinder School. The amount of information that dude has in his head is crazy. I'm sure when it comes to bushcrafting he has seen it all.

They are all really good books. I'm glad I have the whole collection but honestly, this one and Bushcraft 101 are the best. The others are good but I don't think they are for everyone.

I've gone to a lot of yard sales in my life and I never find anything cool. Most of them are just packed full of clothes and children's toys. The other issue is they are so far apart so I have to pick and choose which ones I go to and I always seem to pick the wrong ones. I always get jealous of everyone's awesome yard sale finds.

I don't own many outdoor books as I'm cheap and books are expensive. I've found a few like the SAS handbook on sale, for cheap. I like the book. it's holds it's own when dealing with survival. But I don't own any of Dave's books.

Honestly, if I could have only one book it would be the SAS Handbook. It talks about everything all my other books do. The only difference is other books have more detail on certain subjects but if you already have a basic understanding of how to do things the SAS Handbook is all you really need.
