Many of us said that the beaver would plug up the drain for the pond. That happens many times here in the northeast, and causes a lot of work for rural town highway departments. A suggestion is to build a rebar screen at the outlet and inlet to the overflow, so he can’t get in to cause damage. You and your family are incredible, and myself and the rest your fans, share the emotions of all of you on your channels. Stay humble, and we will always be big supporters.😊

Beaver's are digging mammals.. and if they get blocked one way they will dig underground to achieve their goal. Daniel's pond may be losing water underground from Beaver digging.

I didn't realize that Beavers were such a pain. I guess he's doing what Beavers do and that's not good for your dam, Daniel !! You just might have to trap and relocate him/them or despatch and mount them - as long as they that's legal......? Best Wishes to you and your entire family - stay humble and give thanks to the Lord for all your Blessings !!

This was a very powerful video to watch Daniel. I think one of the reasons I do love yours and DeJay’s channels so much is because you all are such a humble family. And you do acknowledge the blessings your family receives from the grace of God. Not minimizing any of your, or your family’s, hard work and strong work ethic whatsoever! Because you do that as well! But you stay positive in what you (all) share and are always a pleasure to enjoy watching because of all of those things! Stay blessed! 🙏♥️🙏

I agree that little boy was overwhelmed with love, accomplishment and soooo much love for his daddy WOW.
I'll miss Limpy Gimpy but it showed me what hunting is all about for the hunter and it is a instinct deep with in use as humans to provide for the family.

It felt just like I was watching my very own child or grandchild achieve a big goal. I felt the emotion & was so very proud of Houston's success. Be it hunting, fishing, baseball, wrestling, he earned his stripes/win and has awesome parents who teach & guide him through rules, safety & sportsmanship. He is a very level headed young man. ❤️ Congrats Houston!

But, I enjoy watching you and the kids hunt, mostly because of the bonding and life lessons you share. I see a lot of Turkeys on the Mill Creek property. Will you do some turkey hunting? I’d like to see that. I can just smell smoked smoked Turkey on your smoker! ❤😂

It hurts because I never had that from my Father. I was actually afraid of him. But I made sure my two girls were loved and will be to the day I’m no longer here. Like you I love God and nature. We're all just temporary stewards of the great land God gives us, and it's important to remain humble and respect the land you're on. My wife and I are just in the final steps of taking over a ranch that's been in my best friends family for generations. I can't wait to get out there, and actually raising bison high on the list for how to appreciate the property that we will be 'taking our turn on'. All the best for your continued success. Listening to you talk in this video about Houston and Limpy Gimpy brought back a memory with my youngest son when he was about 4-5 years old when he went with me deer hunting. We were in a cedar swamp and been there about 4 hours. After about an hr he feel asleep in a log. He woke up when I fired a shot at a buck. He was wide awake and so excited but then turned to disappointment that I had missed. (Lots of trees close together in the swamp. He came up to me as the buck ran away and said MOM YOU MISSED, but you will get the next one. He melted my heart and the love I felt at that time was so overwhelming. Thank you for bringing that memory back to me. He has been with Jesus for around 16 years and I felt his closeness thinking about that special day with him.

That moment with Houston in the deer blind brought me to tears…I never grew up in your environment I wish I had and I never had that kind of relationship with my parents wer I cld
throw my arms round them and tell them I loved them…that kind of emotion was never shown…we wer a typical English middle class family…my father was a captain in the army…trained at Sandhurst…prob means nothing to you but it’s wer the Royaks all trained…so I envy you what you have and I make sure my children are brought up differently than I was…I love your family and I love your channels and I love that you feel like it’s ‘just your turn’….bless you Daniel and DJ and bless your children and thankyou for allowing me into part if your life….🙏❤

Thank-you Daniel for the lesson you taught me today. That our properties are only ours for a time. " My turn" has put some things in perspective for me today. Thanks and God Bless you and your family.

Daniel I really enjoy watching you spend time in the outdoors with your children. I’m just a little jealous my one and only child is now a 32 year old mother of three and i used to take her hunting with me until she decided she didn’t want to be a hunter. But you’re so right about how special it is to make memories with them. Just take some advice and enjoy it while it lasts because before you know it they’ll be grown with kids of their own. Love the channel and your family.

The skid steer is just purring right along and cutting implement cuts like a knife thru butter. I love the idea of it being "your turn".

Wow Daniel.you remind me another of my husband. I am going to tell him what Ole Buck said about it being his turn. That really got to me. My husband owns hundreds of acres of woods in PA. He works hard to take care of it. I used to help him.
But we are in our 60's and both have a lot of pain. We aren't as able as we were but he keeps loving the land.
    Thank you.

You are the "steward" of your land! When my wife of 27 years died at only 48 years old from a pulmonary embolism on March 24, 2012 one of her final requests was to have her cremains/ashes spread over the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains and I thought we could do it from the mile high swinging bridge on Grandfather Mountain because there's a brisk wind that always blows out on that bridge so I wanted to contact the folks that manage the state park there and their name turned out to be the "Grandfather Mountain Stewardship Foundation". My oldest son, who is a Chief W-2 Warrant Officer in the United States Marine Corps had just got home from being on a 10- month long deployment at Camp Leatherneck in Kabul, Afghanistan and after I mentioned it to the Grandfather Mountain Stewardship Foundation they stated they would be proud to have our family spread my wife's ashes from there! Not only did they do that, they also sent enough free admission passes for every family member! They were absolutely awesome! When I dumped the ashes that brisk wind carried all of her ashes upward and spread them over the valley where there's a lake far below and after I did all of the people & tourists on the mountain applauded! That made it even better! Anyway, I knew that steward was the word that applied to what you were saying about how your land is only yours for as long as you own it or are alive. Your right! God has truly blessed you and your family!
