Excellent video, thank you very much, please could you tell me if with this printer I can make prints of labels for clothes with rolls of nylon material or the material used by the labels that are sewn on clothes, such as shirts, t shirts etc, other questions and excuse me, how many labels can be printed per month with the cartridges until they run out? and how many labels can be printed daily with continuous use? since this printer is not the industrial model
Thanks for the questions and sorry for the late reply! Unfortunately this can only print on materials such as paper and BOPP that have a special coating on them that allow them to be inkjet receptive. I don't know of any nylon or materials that can be used on clothes.

Is it possible to use HotFolder to automatically print, for example, 500 different individual .pdf files? Or what software would you recommend for printing personalized labels?
Hi. I'm not familiar with Hot Folder. Most people just save the design in a pdf and print from Adobe Acrobat. The label printer just has a driver like any other printer but you have to create a specific "Media Definition" for each label, which might cause an issue in personalized printing..maybe this tutorial can help you more ua-cam.com/video/a2qc_G7dBFs/v-deo.html
Can you run card stock through these? like sheet feeding? Would be great if it could do Baseball card sized cards and labels.
No, this will only accept material on rolls. It will do fan folded card stock using a black mark for registration. You can look at equipment such as Afinia CP950 Envelope and Card Stock Printer. Where are you located?
Having trouble with proper alignment with the image on to the label. The ink prints to the left of the label, on the backing material. This then leaves a white strip that does not have ink on the finished label on the right side . How do I adjust this? Working with a mac. on a 3x4 media label.
Go to the printer itself. On the display you will find Print Position where you can fine tune adjust to the left and right. Also, make sure you guides are snug and the label material is not drifting.
Would this printer be able to make labels that can handle humidity? I have items that need to be refrigerated and want to print labels for those
Thanks for the question and sorry for the late reply! Yes, you can print labels that can withstand moisture, water and chemicals. The EPSON ink is pigment based and very durable compared to other printers that only have water based ink. You will have to discuss with your local label supplier about the best material to use for your application as some work better than others. Also, the labels will have to be applied to the product in a clean, moisture free area that is at room temperature. It will be best to have you local dealer do some test printing and send you the samples to make sure they meet your needs.

Thanks for the questions and sorry for the late reply! This is the Gloss version. It is more versatile and much more common. I'm not sure what you mean about ink lasting? If you mean how much ink does it consume, then that will vary depending on the label size and design. There is an ink calculation tool that your dealer can use if you have a specific PDF file that you can share.
How is it holding up so far? Ink usage and ease of use?
They seem to be holding up very well. Very easy to use once you get the basics covered. Ink usage seems to be fine for most of our customers who do not do super high volumes. If you were doing hundreds of thousands of labels, this printer's speed would probably not be the best option. Where are you located?

Most people have a designer who uses Adobe Illustrator. There is a free open source program that we use called Inkscape. Or you could use any program that creates a good quality pdf file. Even Canva can work in the interim.
Where can i get the labels and how much is the INK replacements?

The website for Epsom says this c6000a can go to 1200dpi, but I cant get it to go over 600dpi
Thanks for the question and sorry for the late reply! The Max Quality settings seem to only be for certain materials. From the printing preferences on the computer you can choose either Gloss Paper, Gloss Film or High Gloss Paper which will give you the option of Max Quality. This should be the 1200x1200 dpi.

The The C6500A is the only one for wide label materials up to 8.5" wide. C7500 is for high speed & larger volumes (like 2500-20,000/month). If you don't need label material wider than 4.4", and you're a small business, then the C6000A (Gloss) will probably be best for you.
A label got stuck on the printhead, half of the print head print and the other half of the paper is blank, any solutions? it's only 8 months old.

Yes, there are automatic cleaning cycles that can be set from the display controls. The machine must be left on 24 hours, 7 days/ week to avoid any potential issues. If you follow those instructions, the printer is very intelligent and knows when the jets need to be cleaned.
Hello on Epson colorowks i can use thermal transfer labels ?
No, you can’t use thermal labels. You have to buy specific paper. Texas Label Printers has a guy named Moses working there and he is really helpful.
Raven S is correct. No the labels need a special coating to accept ink jet ink. Just as for Ink Jet labels but even then, there is no guarantee that they will work. You're best to have you local dealer do test printing for you to confirm what you're getting. We do that here in Canada for our customers.

Hi. Inkjet printing is not calculated by the square inch, you must contact an Colorworks dealer near you to do an ink calculation. The ink usage depends on several factors such as ink coverage (light, medium, heavy) is dependant on the color and design of the label, environment (the printer runs automatic cleaning cycles) dust, air flow etc.
is there software I need to download
There is no special software required. You just need to have a good quality pdf file to print. Depending on your needs, you could use something like Bartender software but most people don't need that. Most people have a designer who uses Adobe Illustrator. This printer ruined my business. I can never get it to print flushly on the paper. Can anyone suggest a specific paper brand? I asked Epson for help and they told me the will charge me $2,000 for a technician to come and look at the printer. It has been used once and yet they insisted it was past warranty. I was so discouraged. My business tanked and now I have e to look at this printer everyday and be reminded of my regret. If anyone wants to buy it please let me know because it is causing me emotional distress and all the Epson people I spoke to were no help. One guy rushing me off the convention floor told me to just get Avery paper- can you imaging Avery paper?! Is that quality. Smh
