Louis Farrakhan, leader of the Nation of Islam, is calling last Monday's march on Washington an event unlike anything America has witnessed before.
Speaking at a press conference in Washington today he said the march had spawned a new politically active generation whose vote will not be based on colour or personality, but an agenda they feel is in the best interest of the disadvantaged in society.
At the same time he criticised black general Colin Powell's decision not to attend the rally.
Welcomed by his followers with applause, Nation Of Islam Leader Louis Farrakhan outlined his vision of the future .
He said now was the time for those who heeded his call for a day of Atonement, to become politically active.
SOUNDBITE:
"Then rather than establishing a third political party, we would establish a third political power, that will draw from the Republicans, the Democrats and the Independents and we will work together, we will vote independently, we may be Democrat, we may be Republican, we may be independent but our loyalty will be to an agenda that is in the interest of our people, and the poor, and the vulnerable of this nation.

Farrakhan also vowed to press on with his law suit regarding what he calls a racially motivated and mistaken crowd count , from Monday's march on Washington..
U.S. park police say just 400,00 attended while his group puts the number at over 1.2 million.
Once disdainful of US politics, Farrakhan now says that it is time for his followers and all other African Americans to join in the political process.
Urging his followers to register and vote in the next round of elections, he distanced himself from any thoughts of holding public office.
At the same time he made it clear that his followers should follow his lead when it comes to the issues.

" But for me, the spiritual realm is where I'm most comfortable. I don't ever intend to run for any office, but I do intend, and all those who do run will be held to an agenda that's in the interests of our people"

On Colin Powell's decision not to come to Monday's march, Farrakhan seemed to blame it on the media and white America's attitudes towards African-Americans.

" I am a reality in America. You want him to wait until you talk to me, until the president says 'Mr Farrakhan, um, we must sit down and talk. Then all the black folk that didn't want to talk to me before, it's all right now because we white folk give permission. That means you're still running a plantation, and we reject your plantation and your plantation mentality. It's the time of Exodus, and we call Mr Powell out of that kind of mentality and he must apologise for talking to his own brother."

Farrakhan also confirmed today that he has been talking to Libyan leader Muammar Gadhafi, while stating that he is willing to enter into discussions with Jewish leaders.

AN ENCOUNTER WITH FARRAKHAN
It is a pity that Iran in all its glory and`achievements who is the author of an incomparable Revolution that shook the world needs now to be uplifted by someone like Louis Farrakhan head of the Nation of Islam in USA . Farrakhan was invited to Iran by the council of expediency as he claimed and was granted an encounter with leader Khamina'i also. He says it himself , that the movement helps people in distress and helped those in Texas who were caught in the storm, among them also hispanics , and for this reason Farrakhan is in Iran to help Iran out of distress. Thank you so much Mister Farrakhan, now we know why you are in Iran . Besides this Farrakhan delivers an empty speech . Finally, he has nothing to say or to give to Iran or other distressed people if distress there is . The minister thinks he has been sent to unmask the devil or satan as he calls him, and this is his mission , and has been selected for this . And that Satan has poisoned all , and the cure to this is unity amongst all. Then he goes counting his merits , how he organized the one million march in Washington , and it is clear how much he is promoting himself and his teacher Elijah Mohammed who lead a scandalous life by having this many illegitimate children from teenagers with whom he was promiscuous and without mentioning once leader Martyr Malcolm X in the murder of whom Farrakhan and others of the movement are implicated including Elijah Mohammad himself . Farrakhan is in Iran because of the sanctions he said in order to uplift Iran . He also says that he is among his family , his universal family everywhere in Asia and Africa but that he will go back the USA to tell the bare truth in front of all . What we saw in fact is an inflated ego more than anything else , more than Islam and more than universality., a perfect US citizen. His views on politics are also derogatory, and he thinks that Trump is after an encompassing war that will involve all and will bring Armageddon while what we are witnessing right now is more the soft war and the assimilation of Iran and not direct war but wars by proxies and their likes of terrorist groups and not between countries as he claims . Not one time he mentioned Palestine though he mentioned israel frequently. The Middle East for him is an oil problem. He reacted very badly when someone asked him whether he would say DEATH TO AMERICA and said that he will not, and that this was a very misplaced question , and he got quite upset due to this. Also he answered evasively when asked about Yemen , and what the movement is doing for Yemen. The movement is doing nothing of course for Yemen nor for anyone including the Blacks.of America . He said what he is doing for Yemen is that he is being truthful and telling the whole truth while more is expected from the Nation of Islam that pretends to back Muslims everywhere. The truth is that the minister is doing nothing except furbishing his image , he is on an ego trip and has little to say . It is all around him and his person and image and whether he is being object of a smear campaign or not of which the israelis will profit , and that they will use to expose him . He used this to justify why he will not say DEATH TO AMERICA because he fears to be exposed and prevented from going back to his homeland , but the truth is that he identifies as an American and not as a Muslim .. this is the bare truth . He is half illiterate regarding Religion this is for sure , and any third rate Iranian Sheikh knows about Religion much more than he does . So what do the Iranians expect from him? Nothing besides some entertainment is to be expected . And also the fear of him being an infiltrator with ulterior motives, and this is not very far fetched .

Farrakhan of the Nation of Islam who is keeping Iran busy is but a fool who speaks about UFOs and thinks that he is sent to bring light and denounce Satan. He coexists perfectly with the US establishment . What is sure is that he is leading a cult that revolves around his person and making money also and this has nothing to do neither with Islam nor with the Black cause.

What Iran does not know and what Talebzadeh might not know is that Iran might be hosting today the murderer of Malcolm X and that the Nation of Islam that Farrakhan heads is directly implicated in the murder of Malcolm X in year 1965 after Malcolm X discovered that one of the Nation of Islam founder Elijah Mohammad has been living a scandalous life and after he was at odds with the movement and with Farrakhan regarding different strategies of the Movement .This controversial person that has dubious ties with US intelligence with whom he might have conspired against leader Malcolm X should not be in Iran nor should he be hosted and accommodated . He`adds nothing to Islam except empty talk and what he`serves is not Religion but the US establishmen
