this song is actually about the wife of the lead singer of a band that flyleaf toured with. her name was layla and she had an illness that kept her bed-ridden 24-7, then when she was able to get out of bed for just a while she was so happy and seeing that had an effect on lacey and she wrote a song about it.
I saw Flyleaf in concert. Lacy is so awesome, and so unique. The way she moves and dances while she's singing is like just words aren't enough to bring her message to everyone. She has to be in motion too. She definitely has a style all her own. I hope they come out with another album after they're done touring! ~Lelly
