Those greyish walls in the villa remind me of a cloudy day. Ulk. Not in keeping with the beachy theme. Makes the room look darker along with the dark floors.
It’s a steam mop? My wife loves a steam mop. We love BWV, stayed in a 1 bed a few years back. From U.K. and so cannot come and we should have been in Boardwalk over Xmas.
Got married there a couple years ago. Everyone in attendance did a split stay starting at Pop Century. My folks ended up here for their second leg. Their biggest complaint? No commissary at the Boardwalk like there is at Pop and almost everywhere else. Yeah, they have those restaurants on the boardwalk, but not the same for just wanting to grab a hot beverage and relax before you start your day.
Seeing Tom argue about someone else had to lock the balcony made me think of Dr. Evil talking about his childhood.... “ Some times he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy, the sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament....” Not sure why but it just popped into my head and made me laugh....
So they want you to sweep/mop the floors but don't want you to cook (because there's no frying pan or other pots, except for the one above the stove)???? How bizarre.
It's amazing how they used the cheapest appliances that you can buy. The lamps do not work because they unplugged them to plug in the outlets that are on the night stands. Doing this keeps them from paying an electrician to properly wire in new USB outlets. These places look nice, but for what you are getting, the price point is way above what it should be.
I just ran the cost for this for my wife and 2 daughters (will be 5 and 2 yo ) when we plan to go in 2 years and if I remember correctly it was like $2k a night. So for the price of $14k for a weeks stay, you too can go broke trying to stay at anything other than a hotel room in this hotel. Luckily we are able to buy a friends DVC points and it’s only gonna cost us like $2500 for the week for the same 1 bedroom

Love the boardwalk, the villas are the way to go
Thanks for sharing great room
Tom that is a great room I could live their. Thank you for sharing
Our family is staying there in September. Thanks for the cool tour.

Are they making announcements the whole time at the pool?
Great tour. We usually hang our bathing suits to dry on the hooks at the bottom of the entrance mirror.
If this was an Apt, I'd live there. Just enough room and bathroom space galore, spa tub a bunus
So this is basically Wilderness Lodge just with a beachy theme!! :) I think the balcony is a little larger but I'm not sure about that.
Tom gushing about my home, yay 😁 Glad you finally like BWV.
Have you ever done a tour of the Swan or Dolphin ?

Same layout as Saratoga Springs room we stayed in.

Not unfair.
Thanks for the video! what Room# is this?
Boardwalk is on my list to stay at someday but I find it pricey.
Those lamps will turn on with switches on the entry wall. 😉
They didn’t
The studio is half the cost in points. Location is still nice so it makes sense. Those studios are very popular even if not superior.
I do like this and may consider spending the extra points one time versus my usual studio options.
The studio is hideous though.
@@WDWNT yeah it is for the money. A lot of disney rooms at rack rate are disappointing haha. I guess I get over a lot usually.

Nice👍
Need to notify management that the fire extinguisher is missing from under the kitchen sink.
Wrong
Looks similar to Saratoga
You didn’t pull out the bed in the living room
Steam Mop
Are you kidding me $700 a night? I could stay 5 nights at a nice motel for that

Does not look worth the money to stay there. Poorly setup. Thank you for the tour. I now know not to stay in the DVC units at The Boardwalk
Way way nicer, at likely more than twice the cost! :D
