From a looks and style point of view, it looks mint 👌
From a safety and practical point of view I'd say the stock ones are a better option.
Those smoked lights restrict a lot of brightness in sunlight 🌞
If the white van behind you in a rush to get to his next drop off, in an unfamiliar area, concentrating on his satnav, manages to notice your brake lights as you pull up sharply in front, you'll be good, if not it could be the difference between rear ended or not.
just put these on my mk2 facelift looks so so much better thank you for gieing me the confidence to do them myself :)
I do love the MK 2 Focus.... such a fine looking thing...
I'd now tint the fog and reverse light so they blend in with the new light
But I agree with Luke, the all black look does suit the focus
Now gotta change fog and reverse lights and middle brake light to smoked. Did the same with my sea grey ST, love the look

Black & red gel over lays are needed mate so it’s all in keeping with the colour way.

The new lights are better in my opinion, I’m also waiting on new exhaust to be delivered...(mountune cat back non res) 100cell sport cat and 3” down pipe already fitted💥🔥💥
This is so much better. I have them on my ultimate green Ford Focus RS mk2. It fits better with the black rear window instead of these big red units.

Have been looking at these for a week but already have Autobeam bulbs so have been unsure.
Seeing these on yours now I actually prefer the originals with the Autobeam bulbs.
The red and silver suit the look of your car as they compliment the alloys, with these dark lights you may need to have a darker colour on your rims.
You'd better insulate the inner headlight screw slots with silicone. because over time, it gets water from there to the trunk.
I'm glad you bought these, I was debating on getting the facelift versions but wanted to know what they looked like when lit etc which supplier couldnt supply a pic so I waited
What is the facelift version? Definitely get them, they're not that expensive either.

I have the face lift Mk2 ST (Called an XR5 in Australia) and I actually prefer the factory lights ... I just need to get some LED globes for mine.
Do like the red but the new tinted looks much better 👍

Tough choice... the OG's look good with your Red Brakes and your car being Black, LED ones do look sick though.
Where did you get the door catch bits from?
Like ur vids i have a focus mk2 and have done several mods including the euro light mod but have u considered making both fog and reverse working? I got some 2nd hand old mk2 lights and removed the electrics and drilled into both sides, cut and split the wires and drilled a new hole in each and added the spare bulbs and housing into both lights, now i have 2 fogs and 2 reverse. This only works if u have the Euro lights, it looks really good and i think a good mod for urs! Nice car mate!

Hello from Japan. I have a question. Is there a difference and what as to the pre-face lift smoke tail offered everywhere and 2010 RS model as for connectors and or installation? Will the early smoke tails fit and connect on my RS?

I have these lights. I've been toying with the idea of tinting the originals so slightly. But then I love the fact the lights are different...
