Martha Speaks is so goated. Season 1 especially has so many banger episodes I still remember today, such as the one where Martha was making a bunch of phone calls while Helen had laryngitis, and the one where Martha and Skits got trapped in the department store after closing, or the one where Martha was taken to the animal shelter, and tries to find families for the dogs she met there. Good times.
PBS Kids was one of my favorites programs to watch, so many great shows, from Arthur, Between the Lions, Wishbone and my personal favorite Cyberchase. Not only these shows were fun but highly educational, something that barely it's seen nowadays on today's television.
Wow. I'm surprised PBS Kids had a lot of shows that seemed like they were on the same level as Disney Channel and Cartoon Network shows. Thank you for talking about Martha Speaks. That one has always been one of my favorite PBS Kids shows.
Wild Kratts and Word Girl were my favorite, I'm not surprised that it's on here since growing up I preferred al the non-cringe shows that weren't so stupid that even a 3 yr. old would be offended by. Also, the same thing that happened in Word Girl happened in Henry Danger
I loved PBS as a kid! I remember one of my favorite shows from that channel being Go Fetch with Ruff Ruff Man! It always left me on the edge of my seat
Bro, I never knew anybody would do this before I did but I'm glad you did it first, I didn't know you would explain it so well. "after he kidnapped a cheetah" was wild tho.
🐘 Wild Kratts spread the message to save our wildlife in our world and I agree it is underrated it is a masterpiece cartoon show created by two real life brothers and the movie blue and green world is perfect 🌍
My fav Word Girl moment was the episode where the Butcher stole the Beef Jerky of Supreme Power. I still have that “BEEEEF JERKY OF SUUPPREEEEME POOOWER” line living rent free in my mind
Dude Sid the science kid was my favorite show back then! Dinosaur train was something to put it slightly. Wild Kratts was really good to and now that I’m older I love the art style of this show.
The Wild Kratts fandom is actually huge, to the point there's frequent dramas. I was also hoping you'll talk about more modern PBS Kids shows because I feel like those are more underrated since they're newer.
Some of the most goated shows across all channels not just no cable. You really listed basically my top 5 minus Arthur. Really makes me miss the good ol days
Wanna know an underrated PBS Kids show? Lomax: The Hound of Music. It's a show that was made to teach kids about Americana music. Songs like Buffalo Gals, Turkey In The Straw and Wabash Cannonball were some songs featured, and they all slap. Though Turkey In The Straw & Wabash Cannonbal weren't covered in the way they were written originally. They had their own spin relating to the show
As a PBS kid this video brings back so much nostalgia because I loved all the shows mentioned in this video but my favorite PBS kids show was one that you didn't mention and it was Odd Squad that show was peak like I would come home from school and immediately turn on the TV to watch the new episodes premiere
While I was raised on a fair amount of Disney content I also grew up on Martha Speaks and Word Girl and I still love watching Wild Kratts and Cyberchase. Also I’d like to recommend the show “Nature Cat” if a part 2 comes up, it’s really fun.
I remember Zoboomafoo I would watch it when I was really young. I also remember watching Wild Kratts I loved Wild Kratts so much that I didn’t stop watching it until I turned 18.
@@CJLapierreWait. I just realized why you might think it's 20. You're probably watching it though Amazon or another streaming service, and they typically put like 4-6 episodes per season. (I'm not sure about the number).
Yo, Electric Company anyone?! I fucking LOVED this show soooo much. And they also had a game where you could play as marcus and jessica and stop the villians from taking over the world. I will always love that show.
When it comes to Martha Speaks, no one but me seems to realize that Martha is a cute doggie. Like really, what’s up with you guys? Her design is *adorable,* and I wish I wasn’t so lonely about that
I find it very strange that the cartoon community usually ignores Dinosaur Train, Ready Jet Go!, & Let's Go, Luna!, despite the fact that the former two were created by Craig Bartlett of Hey Arnold! fame and the latter was created by Joe Murray of Rocko's Modern Life & Camp Lazlo fame.
I always loved Wordgirl, and I still do. The problem is, it's hard for me to watch her take criticism from the jewelry store clerk, Reginald. The guy never appreciates her saving his store, always criticizes her, in his first appearance he was a jerk. One episode "A Hero, A Thief, A Store, And It's Owner" even made fun of this by having him make up a story that made Wordgirl look like a dimwitted idiot, and him look like a true hero. In the end, Wordgirl didn't catch a break as a cop planned to take credit, in the final seconds, everyone just roasted her by saying "can not" even though she can easily tell us what really happened as seen earlier in the episode. I mean, she gets upset when everyone else does it, but she just takes it from this guy like it's nothing. In fact, this guy is the last one to criticize Wordgirl, when he never even does anything about it. If he doesn't like Wordgirl so much, why didn't they make an episode where he just tries to get rid of her or just have an episode with them trying to bond, only for the kid to get fed up and finally stand up to him? That would've been an interesting episode in my opinion, but it never came! My only hope now is that someone does a fanfiction with these two and has Wordgirl finally stand up to him or something, cause he should've had it coming, but it never comes. Sure, she left him trapped in a drawer in one episode, but that doesn't count because it came after the one I mentioned earlier. It's worse because even when it's not the dumb clerk, Wordgirl often goes through some kind of abuse from the public, calling her lame, making her look bad, even cheering at a song that insulted her. Even Huggy has his bad moments towards her.
Curious George, Super Why, and Thomas & Friends were my childhood shows from PBS I remember watching Curious George every morning before school though I never really watched or liked shows such as Word Girl or Arthur I kinda regret not liking them bc they were goated too.
It’s not Cats, it’s Kratts, and by the way I’ve been watching this show for 10 years. AAAAAAACK! OMG I LOOOOOVE WORDGIRL, IT’S MY FAVORITE, I’VE BEEN WATCHING IT SINCE THE END OF THE SCHOOL YEAR!
