It depends on a Filipina, expectations in terms of supporting the family. If the family are self sufficent and relatives working abroad etc that's fine. But if the expectation is that you pick up all the families medical bills etc stuff like that. That's a huge problem. Could wipe you out in months !
Samar Island is in the Central Philippines and is always hit by typhoons and earthquakes. Cagayan De Oro in Mindanao would be a better place. From September to May, Samar Island is vulnerable to numerous typhoons.
Villa Marcelina give that beach a try, bit of a small trike ride out from Calbayog, lovely beach, bring a cooler full of beer and you're sorted. Had my engagement party out there rented a karaoke the lot 😂 after a few drinks I thought I was Jon Bon Jovi 🤣 enjoy yourself fella
