It is unbelievable to see an airshow each day and Lakeheath will not disappoint you. I worked at the old tower on the other side of 06 & 24 many years ago and enjoyed every minute. Nothing like a little traffic to make your day and fog is just part of Lakenheath ... Great video!!!!
This just popped up on my recommendations. Thanks for sharing. I watch live streams from Lakenheath and it's nice to see it from a different angle. Remember what they say about negative comments, opinions are like a**holes, everybody got one!!!
I used to work at the Power/Catcher shop seen in several blurs as you moved around on the tower. It’s changed a lot since 04. I still get misty when I see LN tail markings.
Nice one, hoping to get Air side soon. I did Waddington few weeks back for CW23-1, was brilliant despite no flying due to snow and planning day. I bet you are a tad annoyed that the dslr mount was not facing completely forward for the tower to ground segment, unlucky.
i was there in 2005 I am British my friend who is american was in the USAF and was based there and i went on base with them, very weird experience from the US Post office right around the corner from our British one to all the american food restaurants i am used to from visiting the usa to the two sets of police forces
I agree it’s a good place to see the aircraft close up and doing what they do around the flight path but sitting on a hillside and waiting for that rush is something else. I love when people put constructive criticism but don’t show their’s as a comparison. Having been there and dealt with the noises and the wire fencing it’s not that easy. I had similar left on a video from there, recorded by my son with a mirrorless camera he’d never used all hand held as well......comment was deleted.

The air shows are fantastic, but living at the end of the run way in lakenheath village was scary. I miss my home country.
Forget to say your photos were incredible
