Na, the Bogatyr is arguably the best t3 Cruiser IMO. Others might argue the St. Louis because the higher health but when I play my St. Louis I find fighting the Bogatyr rather difficult. The DPM it pumps out is really high.
The firing angles are amazing, so dodging while firing is easy. AFT makes things more comfortable and lets you lob over a few islands. It can't really take hits though. The St. Louis on the other hand can bounce quite a few AP shells off the belt.
Slow? the St. Louis is 20 ish, the Tenryu is on par, and if the Caledon is faster it pays for it by being made of paper.
Keep working at it, you'll get the W eventually. You did very well. Get some upgrades and some captain skills and eventually you'll turn into a broken record like DJ Khaled, "another one. another one. another one.." etc.
Na I like how it's become a "meme" for me. The little ship that I worked so hard in nearly every match and just nobody else wanted to do anything but slam dunk my hardwork right into the dumpster. It was like that fantastic girlfriend that just was never meant to be. I don't care to club/play under t6 unless I'm playing with friends that I'm trying to get into the game. (Most of which quit at t5 when they see the MM screw them) Besides, the Kirov and Budyonny were even more fun. I might go back to the Budyonny once I hit the Moskva. Except this time with an IFHE captain. I want to see how well I can do since I was at 62k average damage without IFHE.
I like how cocky the South Carolina is acting at the end when there's a not-quite-so-brave reason the ship has all its health.

In his defense, his ship is very slow and Troll's team died pretty fast.
I honestly thought the guy was just joking around, rather than genuinely shit-talking. The things he was saying were just way too campy.

My Tirpitz is really sensitive about it. Can you imaging how it is: Always hearing about your tough sister giving the royal navy a hard time while you were forced to sit in a fjord your whole life. It wasn' her fault. Stop picking at her! This cyberbulling have to stop.

Triple ANYTHING would be amazing as long as they work together like that.
Sturm Anything less than 16 guns per ship is insufficient, therefore using anything other than the Lyon is insufficient.

Trivia: the Canet 75 mm secondary guns on the Bogatyr eventually saw some use as anti air guns, but roughly as early as World War One. But the reason the Bogatyr didn't have any AA is simply because nobody used war planes at that time! The Wright brothers had just flown in 1903. It would take a decade for nations to actively start using planes on the battlefield.
Boy do I miss your low tier replays! I tell ya, I’m here for your voice, character, and personal insight however you mostly concentrating on high tier battles well...gets boring month after month. But you mentioning ship names I haven’t heard in half a year or just plain old predicting how these ships will operate really brings a smile to my face! It’s very fun and I know new players to your channel can relate to it because again, low tier ships.

the main reason I can see people originally focusing on Trollsidon is the 'OH CRAP!' factor of a ship (or tank) with pretty much the entirety of your team on their kill list.
I think that's the heaviest team I've ever seen, even Arnold Schwarzenegger couldn't have carried it. Excellent video and an excellent game.

Indeed. And the Bogatyr is a protected cruiser, not a light cruiser...and he's angled.
You aren't going to get reliable penetrations with South Carolina AP on that. Plus he is already low health. HE (in that situation) is obviously the right choice.
Tbh the South Carolina is utter crap, so I’d give him a minor reprieve
No reason to fire AP at a bogatyr, its citadel is so hard to hit its almost as if it isn't there. Also it has ridiculous armor so most of the shells probably would've bounced. He made the right choice by firing HE.
You do this every time Jingles. You make it look like the dude playing is going to Save The Day and then he loses anyway. Does me a heckin' disappoint.

That was fun to watch! I wanted the Bog to win it but when you said "and the South Carolina is on full health" I did not see how it could be done. Darn good game for the Bog captain though!

My first look-see at this game...very interesting! It seems to be a game with a very challenging learning curve. It was enjoyable to watch even with a very limited understanding of your gaming and naval lingo. As with most games of this nature, I see the seasoned pros enjoying the struggles and blunders of NOOBS. Thanks for the entertainment!

it is nice to see all these naked boat and fresh players in a game. In SEA server, Flamu could tell you that you get seal sclubber every game from T3-5. You will never have a game like this in SEA server, except you are very lucky. Ppl tend to have a worse stats in SEA server, ebcause it is very difficulty to survive there.

Hey Jingles. Don’t forget that this ship is most likely a protected cruiser of the likes in the pre dreadnought era.
I think that if there is a Bogatyr then there should be a USS Olympia as well. The Olympia had 4-8in in two turrets plus a secondary battery of 5in guns and a decent turn of speed. Her appearance was similar to the Bogatyr.

Remember the SC one day will be in a Montana smack talking while firing HE from max range. The reason he will keep doing it is because he was able to save the day once doing it in a tier 3 game.

Loved this vid. It had absolutely everything that makes the game so much fun at low tiers other than a ram.
I'm torn about this match. On the one hand I despise seal clubbers but on the other hand he was doing it effectively without the club to make it more fair. =/

If he's just working his way up the line it's not seal clubbing at all... not everyone likes to piss away free xp skipping ships.

Calls the Bogatyr slow while the Colorado at tier 7 is 3 knots slower and has to deal with maps 4 times the size...
And about the AA, the Arkansas Beta has no AA too and as a tier 4 very often meets CVs as tier 4 is the starting tier for CVs.

But but the colorado is A FKING BIG ASS BATTLESHIP...While the Bogatyr is a cruiser..
General Cartman Lee - He never said it was the only low-mid tier ship with no AA.
Davtwan But pointing out a tier 3 ship has no AA while the only possibility to meet a CV in a tier 3 ship is being bottom tier is a bit funny.
Kolberg. Oleg and Varyag have no AA too, Tenryu has one 80mm gun and 2 MG with a total of 6.6 DPS.
The actual weakness presented here is the combination of slow speed and no AA. Tenryu can dodge bombers much more easily.

Based on DevilDogCharlie's name, he might be a Marine. There's a chance he started choking on his own spit when the idea of pressing the fire button and maneuvering the ship made him convulse into a vegetative state equivalent to the average Conqueror player.

Hm, 10:42.... is the DD not moving south-ish to get the Island between him (if things get too close-ish) and the possible enemy ships to stay undetected for the cap... but he moves out of the cap circle, right? Well it's still almost ten minutes remaining so I guess the "No Cap Kill all" mentality could be in place, but the Dd doesn't think of the speed of the ships on his team nor the point difference, right?
Also the DD could possibly make the Caledon (if it returns as it seems) slow down entirely with a well placed smoke and torpedoes (while not actually staying inside the smoke so just using it as decoy so the enemy doesn't rush into the cloud but starts firing on it instead.

I suspect the more lopsided the kill numbers per player are, the more likely a defeat is for that side.
Consider: this guy racked up ten kills out of a possible twelve, and lost. With his eleven other teammates managing only a single kill between the lot of them, they're clearly new enough at this that they aren't serious combatants yet. Efffectively, that means the Bogatyr's team was made of eleven rookies still learning how to avoid rookie mistakes, and one demonstrably good player. In that situation, it's not really surprising to me that the good player can run up a ridiculous score and still lose, because his team is still learning how to play effectively yet and isn't likely to contribute much.
To be fair, in this game, the Bogatyr's team did a lot of damage to the enemy team, and only made a few big rookie mistakes, like the destroyer leaving the cap circle on his own about 2/3 through the match, and spreading the damage out between too many ships instead of focusing individual targets down. But since that left them open to get focused down and sunk themselves...
Jingles, you will be the in game commander.
As a BB fighting a low tier protected cruiser that isn't bow or stern on, firing HE is going to do more consistent damage. AP will blow through or ricochet off the sloped citadel deck and then blow through.
Full HP battleship at the end of the match firing HE, check.
Team being usele- *cough* out of position *cough*, check.
Hard carry and still losing, check.
Japanese DD being Japanese DD, check.

Jingles Farang is the Thai word for foreigner, the Thai destroyer is Phra Ruang it's not an easy word to pronounce I admit though.

Thanks for posting a Tier 3 replay. It is good to have a variety of Tiers within your video set. Tier 3 is not Tier 9 in terms of tactics. You do not have the toys like radar and sonar. It is a great tier for playing Rank in.
After a 5 month break from the game, I updated it and was planning to play a few games tonight... This just disheartened me!

My actual best game was in a bogotyr with a total damage somewhere in the 130 or 140 thousands .
I was probably very lucky to be left alone otherwise I could not have done such an score.
Still remains my best damage to this day with in second place my Nassau with 123thousand and something in damage.
Third place goes to the t6 German cruiser if I remind correctly.
Favorite ship is my little piece of Japanese t3 tin can, the mighty katori.
I like the bogatyer. It's even more fun with the 130mm guns.

If I were a Tirpitz owner I would give Jingles this line: "My Tirpitz doesn't think it funny you laughing. She gets to thinking you are laughing at her. Storozehvoi has torps with a 32 second reload they're great if you get close
