Excellent video. This really helps people understand the value that our gear yields to us as creators. Yes - the photographer is the variable that determines how well an image comes out. But - the experience of owning a piece of equipment that reinvents the way we approach our creative process provides much more meaning to the craft, and to the love of that specific camera. Love this. I think that as you pointed out, with any art there is this constant gravity thing pulling us down into just sort of doing what works or what, “gets the job done”. Maybe it’s some combination of interruption and intentionality that brings us back - makes us weightless in a sense, less susceptible to that constant gravitational pull. Here for the work of finding tools and methods that make it new again.

Thank you so much! I sold my beautiful M6 to help my son by his first car and haven’t had a film Leica body sense. I’ve considered selling my Mamiya 7 for one but that’s a hard choice

@@jeremygouge I had the mamiya 7II for a while, but decided to to fully commit to a digital workflow and print as much as a could. Printing my digital images provides me that tactile feel missing with digital cameras. A really nice silver one for sale on Facebook Leica group!

I've always been a bit of a control freak... I shoot Manual 100% of the time.. I just like controlling all of the variables
