Using Faux Polaroid Photos In Junk Journal Collages! DTP

- The blind date journal series is already finished... but I thought about what will happen in a few years when I flip through this journal?! I will see the projects that have been created in my journal, but I will not see what I have created in Susanne's journal during this swap project. And I won't have a memory of my projects in her journal. Because of that I decided to print out the photos I've taken of those projects and turn them into faux polaroids. Since the blind date journal is a design team project for @49dragonflies I'm using her wonderful papers today as well - of course! Let's have a tea party in Paris while creating some collages with those photos!

Very very cute! What have you gotten me into? First I get your cute animals this morning and now I just got the Tea Party clip art so I think that the animals must have a tea party!! Also I love your little pictures and I think that they would look great with those little old fashioned black photo corners on them! Good morning Luise! This is an amazing idea! Do you have a video on creating the faux Polaroid pictures?
No, but it's very easy. Take a piece of photo paper, print two squared photos to that and cut in half. The photo paper is a rectangle, if the photos are squares you'll get the polaroid look. Hope that makes sense 🤠
This was a really cool idea and using Barbara’s digitals with the colors through out the journal were spot on. (So cute Barbara). What were you using for glue? I don’t know what is causing it but my glues are reacting differently than they should. Thank you💕.

I can't answer that exactly.... It's different with every journal I make. Depends on the thickness of the paper itself and the embellishments. I don't like signatures that are too thick
