I completely agree with your opinion. Also, I don't want to sound classist but we need some educated cricketers who have worldly exposure and who know how to carry themselves on a global stage. I know that in the end it is about how you play the game but education and exposure gives one so much confidence. I do feel sometimes that lack of education and limited exposure has also made our players insecure leading to this inherent feeling that they are not equal to their opponents. Personality and mental grooming is so important which I feel our cricketers highly lack and that is why they get so easily intimidated. Wining has so much to do with psychology.
Players can be trained for all this. The cricket boards hire professionals to train players on personality, grooming etc. Indian board does that. Ab sab theek thaak English bol lete hain.
