- Gearing in Throne and Liberty is convoluted and unnecessarily complicated so in this video I go through the different facets of getting fully geared so that you're able to without making any big mistakes or being confused on how to get gear. I also go through how to most efficiently upgrade gear and also cover which types of gear are the best to wear early on.

I believe you need over 7.30 level on purple gear before transfering blue over otherwise it won't max.

Transfering from blue to blue has no penalty? So i can freely upgrade my random blue set to +9 until i find a better blue to transfer to, aye?
@@r4m0m777 no penalty! It costs around 500k gold tho
Any of the same colour are 1-1 ratio. So if you upgrade a lvl 3 green to a blank green = lvl 3 green. Same for any level and any colour providing they are the same colour.
The level return is only lower when going from a green > blue or blue > purple.

If you transfer a +9 blue with 3 traits into a purple, do you keep the traits?
For the final quest what armor set should I get?
Thanks for the video. I just hit lvl 50 how to you continue to get level points to put into str, dex, wis, perception? My exp bar is full and no longer progressing to obtain points thanks for the help
@@jetli3333 is this your first mmo? After you hit level cap you can’t level up anymore hence you don’t get anymore skill points from leveling. The rest of your skill points come from gear
And this way you just messed up all the gearing of the people watching this video. You didnt mention the blessing you acquire from transfering gear maxed out with the traits maxed out. If you just simply transfer a green +6 without maxing the traits of that green, you are loosing 70 points of blessing in the blue piece. After you transfer the green to the blue with all the traits maxed, what you want to do is to max out the traits of the blue piece before transfering it to the purple and that way you transfer the blessing maxed to the purple piece.

The transferring blue when purple is at 7 is a myth, it's the same exp and number of growthstones used in the end

Cuz 0 to 6... And 7 to 9.. seems kinda strange...
6 levels in the beginning or 3 at the end..

It's not the same, I did the math and it was like 68 if transfered from base, 63 if done using 7.3.
Not a big difference, BUT if you get unlucky on the last levels then the sink is massive. Meanwhile from 1 to 7 is more consistent and less costly if you low roll.
@@aldodzbhow did you do the math, it's supposed to be the exact same exp...I think someone said there just more chances manually upgrading from 0 to 7 of getting good rng upgrade

Don't buy the green lithographs with contract coins the story quests give you a ton of them, I'm spending most my coins on trait extraction stones to make money
wow 2 hours for 2 purple, Ive grind 3 hours and dind drop a single blue cape from a tree infected mob :D

You don't, after 50 the game isn't about crafting items. You now FIND the item. Litos are just to put an item in the market.

How do you get blue/purp lithographs?
You craft them in the armor merchant there is a blue and purple versions.

Blue/purple lithographs are made by having that actual item and then applying a rare blank/epic lithograph to that item to create the lithograph. Think of them like blueprints.
Those item-specific blueprints do not drop anywhere to my knowledge. You would have to make them or buy them from someone else who made it using a blank lithograph.

you forgot to mention that it is literally impossible to get the "bis" blue gear that doesn't drop from the open world dungeons. like broadsword of the resistance.
you cant just find a gearing guide and do what they say, you have to farm blue gear in crypt/abyssal/ant/temple or its ggwp you will never max the traits on your blues.

Blue gear is mostly used as stat sticks.
The bis blue gear is for lads who want to crush noobs early on with a ton of evasion, doing videos like '' rank 1 pvp EU pro gamer xD''
The point of doing a fully trait blue gear is because :
1. You get a lot of stat from it, you can clear all the PVE content easy with it, even crush it.
2. Transferring a full trait blue gear on a new purple gear gives you 960 blessing, which allow you to upgrade a trait on your purple item with a blue item 2 times at 100% chance. That save you a lot of time and/or money.
All in all : aim for an item you can get in bulk and extremely easily.
@@overanalyzingssome people even fill their blue items with shitty traits just for the transfer blessings, and sell the expensive ones like heavy attack chance or crit rate or hp.
They'll have a big power spike later on.

Yep. Active and passive skil books, weap and armour upgrades. Other than those it’s ok
