An encounter with Jesus changes everything for us, just as it certainly did for Simon, a young fisherman of Galilee. How does a clueless knucklehead end up leading the history-changing movement of Christianity?! And how might we also experience that kind of transformation?
In this teaching series, we seek to get to know Simon Peter, ultimately so we might get to know Jesus.

Lying about knowing Jesus is what saved Christianity. Cannot remove this truth from my mind. Lying for the right reasons are sometimes necessary yet painful regardless the lie. Peter hid the truth to spread it and Jesus forgave him because it was good.
Way more with Simon than anyone so far.

I'm trying to find commentary or information that talks about his early years in Jerusalem and can't find it. I'm beginning s six week series on his life. Thanks for any possible help in this area.
