Again, a very nice demonstration. I like your calm approach to pottery. It is helping me in my throwing. My goal this year is to throw 500 mugs and I'm incorporating some of your techniques along the way. Thank you.
Hi Ki, I was wondering if you could explain in depth how you grab clay from the very bottom outside of the pot in order to pull it up, I sometimes struggle when I try to pull it up. It's when I already threw a cylinder and now want to get a little more hight. Cheers and thanks a bunch for sharing your skills!
Gorgeous! So artistically beautiful! I had a ceramics instructor who would make like 100 mugs every year . He made them as gifts. Is that like a potters work out? Do you recommend it as a good way to warm up or improve.? If so, what should I be thinking about and what is the goal? To make them identical ? Is it better to throw off the hump?(I see a lot of people doing that) if that is true would you be willing to make a video about throwing off the hump ? I find it so hard because it’s difficult to stay supported so high up? Thank you
Thanks.....I like the handle standing rather than the conventional loop.........
