This match is Third Strike at its' purest. Third Strike is simultaneously relaxing because of how well it flows, but engaging by the sheer complexity of it. I love this game so much.
This is beautiful. When they both jump in and NOTHING HAPPENS because they're both watching to see what mistake the other will make, it's so tense. They are constantly trying to out-think each other and guessing ahead at the same time. I don't hate the later SF games but nothing gets me as excited as a match like this between masters.
Is amazing how Kuroda can pull RX to play at his max level, just thinking about Q's tier, makes me cry. Then Dudley... are you serious? what a beatdown. Gods in 3rd Strike.
@@VabaRaba-dk5jl SBO 2008. But his strongest character overall is probably Ken. Several SBO 2010 feats, decent result against Deshiken, victory against Matsuken in FT10... Q might be second best, great feats as well (SBO 2009, FT10 vs Tominaga etc.). His Gouki was flashy, but very gimmicky and lost decisive matches against Chun-Li players. And his Oro was good, but he avoided using unblockables and lost most of his games during SBO 2012.
What Kuroda did back then that makes him so special was the fear he put into his opponents, just out of sheer patience and fainting. Just look how he makes Urien make huge punishable mistakes.
Kuroda is an excellent player, but I prefer Rx, Tominaga and others. This is because Kuroda plays on the defensive and studying the opponent and i don't like to much that. That's why Kuroda's best character is Q. However, is easy watch he got perfected from other players because don't attack to much. I think Rx and Tominaga are to much more aggressive and has better reflexes. Other thing I think is not cool to do is change the character. Kuroda study RX, change for character he thinking have the better way to win because with Q he can't win all matchs. But great match.
Q isn't his best character by a long shot. Almost all of the other hard hitters and the lightweight top tiers are still better for him. However, Q is the most fun character to see Kuroda play.
> But as far as matchup, everyone is horrible > for Q. Probably true for the most part, but Sean and Twelve aren't that bad a matchup. And Q can absolutely slaughter a computer-controlled Gill even at maximum difficulty.
MajinBacon Interesting. You know that for a fact? RX doesn't play particularly like Kuroda does. Then again, no other player has reads as good as Kuroda, except maybe MOV. Not even KO or Boss can make reads like this.
what makes fmthis match good? sf3is the only one i have not play more than 2 3 times. i am good at sf but i really dont understand what makes these matches special.
This match is great for a few reasons. For one, the characters. Urien with the proper techniques creates unblockable setups and gets meter back and does crazy juggle damage with the shoulder charges. Q has limited combo potential. Q can only combo off his close standing forward (overhead), his ex dash punch, and command grab. The second reason this match is so entertaining is the players. RX is very aggressive with Urien while Kuroda is patient slowly figuring out his opponent because of Q's taunt (gives higher defence, making him take longer to kill).
These guys are the GODS OF PUNISHING, imagine all the sf4 highlights that diago did add evo moment 37, as Iconic as evo moment 37 ; RX and Kuroda we’re pulling that stuff of every tournament. The mind games are that of the highest level, the feinting that they do(the up and down thing that looks like teabagging) is a bait who ever throws out a move first and more or less punish it, these guy are comeback GODS. These are my favorite sf3 fights ever. I've been wanting to watch them again for years. Thank's so much for the upload.
No problem, thanks for watching! :)
AltoPat, where have you been? Still on PSN?
I am, but I just don't play that much these days.
+dkblade27 what about you Denjizz?
Crime_Alley Taking a year off from the game to pursue other things lol. Still active keeping up with events and watching matches though.
3:43
Oh my fucking god. Double Dash Headbutt.
Charge was partitoned at least in 3. I can't even handle this stuff, what a legend.
didn't even notice. good god almighty
6:51 lmfao this could only ever work in 3S
It's funny how this is the dream match of everyone and it happened years ago amongst Japanese archives
7:58 God mode parry.
Holy shit urien goes berserk at 8:16 he took out more then 3 quarters of his health bar in a 13 second onslaught that is insane.
+ian miller ppl forget that urien just kind of does that to Q, Q's got a hurtbox the size of a small country
LOL

Gods in 3rd Strike.
Q is the best character of Kuroda.
We see just 1 fight with Kuroda using dudley, so, is normal lose just 1 fight
@@biologia689 a little late but it’s akuma or oro
@@lewissteward65yet he never played akuma at sbo

Beginning at 3:53 they traded whiffs 3 times. Amazing (there are more whiffs from RX around that time, as well).
Thanks for the upload dude!
3s is better than sfv to me
alexander zapatier all the way... Sfv is for shitty player scrubs
Amen
Sfv is great by today standards but in this day we just don't say that 3rd strike is the best of all time we just compare how close FG are to it
@@Wolf-db9bo shut up shitty scrub player
Me too
MATCH OF THE CENTURY.
You are my fucking hero!!! THANKS!!! GREETINGS FROM MEXICO CHINGAO!
5:48 That delayed taunt is so sick.

Bio Logia Kuroda is the goat of third strike, get used to it
thedillmeister 97 Doesn't mean he has to favor him.

He isnt defensive lol. Have you even seen him play other chars?
2005, don't know event
First fight start with 7 wins for RX. Second, with 10 wins. I think they played to much more than thats matchs and RX take more.
other players exist in this world you know?
I know. and how you know if was other players or not?
they recorded all the fight, then cut the part "rx vs kudora"
oh you dont know that kudora taught RX how to play Urien
+Kiều Sơn Kudora lmao
lmao
I really want to see RX vs Messatsu Yarou
Dude, I'd love to see RX vs Messatsu Yarou. Messatsu has a insane charge partition and I dare to say that he can beat RX (at least on some matches).
Denis Alves Both are insanely good, i wish to see them play against each other, it will be an absolute blast for sure
Kuroda himself is probably an even better Urien player than RX. Urien is a horrible opponent for Q.
Hmm, maybe. But as far as matchup, everyone is horrible for Q. What makes him so good is his b. MP Kara grab.
> But as far as matchup, everyone is horrible
> for Q.
Probably true for the most part, but Sean and Twelve aren't that bad a matchup. And Q can absolutely slaughter a computer-controlled Gill even at maximum difficulty.
He taught RX how to play Urien.
