@@fafagbedemah8960 not sure that can be done. Because Games that you bought on your system belong to your account. So you could copy it to the external hard drive but unless it’s a game that is on PS Plus or PSN which you’d both have to have. That would be the only way you could play co-op together. What game is it ur trying to play together. Maybe I could give better insight. Only game that you can do that with is a game called No way out! Only 1 person needs to own the copy of the game to play. But you have to have a co- op player to play it with you in order to play. If that’s the game you’re talking about then yes.

On his console but you can’t play the game in 2 different places at one time without both owning the game. Threw own PS accounts. Unless you have a Modded system. But I’ve never seen a modded PS4. Okay. I was confused for a minute. I thought that I could still transfer the saved data to the external hard drive, except I didn't realize you need a separate USB stick to do that. But thank you for your effort to help.
Dude thank you so much, I looked at so much stuff but it never went step by step like this and now I can finally just let my system process what it needs to process to fit more stuff in (It kept saying I didn’t have enough storage with a 5 terabyte drive attached to it)

So what is the point of the Application if the saved data doesn't transfer as well? how do you then download your save data now that you have your saved data on USB? Do you need both the extended storage with the application with the USB with the saved data to play elsewhere? Is it possible to make a video?

I was quite confused when i successfully transferred the games but not the files based on info from other tutorials. I can't believe Playstation needs us to tell the cloud or a separate drive to transfer the Saved Files as well as Game Data - Duh! But thanks for this friend!
You can't have the USB formated to the PS, if you do that you can't put saved data onto it as I've discovered. An unformed USB works regarding saved data.
